I went into the cloud on phone it was on. Turned off and back on. Now i have 6 of one contactDeleted face books also incase that was the issue. I went to Itunes and couldnt find contacts - now I wonder it is is my outlook email too adding information as I am seeing contacts that are only on my outlook emails.

For most users it starts with some random crashes and freezes like you describe it. And then it just gets worse and worse. There are still no "good" solutions, sadly. This is a hardware problem from the production. -

Under the iCloud portion of settings on my iPhone, I have always gotten the message "account not verified". The email matches and is in fact the same for my accounts on iCloud and iTunes. Has anyone had this problem, and how have they resolved it?

When I try to download iPhone OS 5.1.0 on my PC I get this message "stopped (err = -3259)"and says it timed out at the server after the entire download. I have tried 3 times, it takes about 8 min. to download the 790.7 MB file. Has anyone had this problem and what is the fix?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Hi, my oldest messages seem to have disappeared, has anyone had this problem? They are older Text Messages I wanted to keep. Is it maybe something to do with running out of space? Will they be saved in an archive somewhere?
Any help or tips much appreciated!Just to clarify, these were standalone single texts, and not the oldest set of texts within a conversation, if that makes sense.

i have a MacBook pro. I'm trying to connect my Mac through wifi at my house, it shows my router says it's connected with full signal yet I have no internet. So I thought I would try it at my friends house but I had the same problem. the Internet connection and wifi were on, as our iPhones were working through wifi. And my friends Mac works via wifi at my house. Just mine dosnt has anyone had this problem or can help me with this problem thanks.

Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

My brand-new iPad Mini has Siri unresponsive. This happens quite frequently and I find it very frustrating. I have a strong Wi-Fi connection. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?
Let me also say that this has been functioning this way out of the box...this is not new or a result of cookies or a full cache.

The vibrate symbol that appears on screen when turning vibrate on, continually appears on my screen and vibrates all day. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
Although you say you have let the battery drain, was it for long enough? Since nothing else that you've tried so far has worked, I suggest that you leave the iPod unplugged for at least four days, preferably a week. That way, if something is stopping the iPod from turning the screen on, then whatever it is will drain the battrey. However, since the screen isn't on, that may take longer than if the screen was on.
Then, after that time, plug the iPod into a power source and leave it alone for at least thirty minutes. Only after thirty minutes will it show any signs of life, but you should leave it until it is fully charged before trying to use it.
If you get to this stage, the fact that the battery has drained will cause the iPod to reset when it springs back to life.

I cant update or remove itunes without receiving the message: the install source (itunes.msi) for this product is not available. verify that the source exist and that you can access it. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

All the photos from my computer were transferred to my iphone. I don't know what I did to make that happen and I can't even delete them from my phone.
