I have an Iphone 4S on ios7.0.3 and am attempting to use airplay with an airplay enabled AV receiver from Pioneer (VSX-53). I also recently upgraded my wireless router. I no longer get the airplay icon on my iphone? Any suggestions?
I have an iphone 4S on ios 7.0.3 and am attempting to use airplay with an airplay enabled AV receiver (Pioneer VSX-53). I also recently upgraded my wireless router and the roouter is working fine with the five elements on the network. Prior to the upgrade to 7.0.3 and the router upgrade the airplay feature working fine and i was able to consistently use airplay to stream music th the AV receiver. After the upgrades the airplay icon no longer appears on my iphone or on my macbook running itunes. Any suggestion on how to trouble shoot the missing airplay icon is much appreciated.
Hi there,
You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

It is now locked to the original carrier. Sounds like that was Orange. Only the carrier the phone is locked to can authorize the unlock of the phone. You may be able to use it again on Orange, or if they provide unlock services you may be able to get it unlocked, however I have read of many phones that have been hacked to unlock not accepting the factory unlock. I am trying to play some videos from the internet and I get the message "missing plug in". I click on the message and downlaod adobe flash player as prompted. When I log in again to play the videos, I still get the missing plug in message. Any suggestions??
that used to happen to me all the time! I would recommend going to a different sight or attempting to download it again ( you may have missed a step it can be tricky).

Mail app quits when opened after installing Mavericks. I reinstalled and still the same. I noticed the mail app icon has not changed to the new icon in Mavericks. Any suggestions?
I also forgot to note that this problem also persists with the new iBooks application. I cannot get past the 'Get Started' screen or access the iBooks Store. Again, all top bar menus are unresponsive.

I Set up my Apple TV and it worked well with my iPad 2. Following an update of my Apple TV software none of my devices now show the AirPlay symboL. This includes an iPhone 4S and iPod Touch 4th gen,. Any ideas?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

I was updating iTunes to version 11.1.4 and the installation failed. I follwed all the steps from the Apple Support website to uninstall iTunes. The Apple Mobile Device Support would not uninstall, but I proceeded based on info from the support community. I am now trying to download and install iTunes. I show that iTunes has downloaded, but I cannot get the installer program to open/run. Any suggestions for what I might try?

My IPhone 4 started talking while I was at work today, and I can no longer get it to recognize my password. It freezes up and will not function properly, nor can I answer incoming calls. If you mean it speaks when you tap things on the screen, you have VoiceOver turned on and need to turn it off in settings. To do this, follow these steps exactly:
Press Home.
Tap Settings. Then double-tap Settings.
Tap General. Then double-tap General.
Use three fingers on the screen to scroll to Accessibility.
Tap Accessibility. Then double-tap Accessibility.
Tap VoiceOver. Then double-tap VoiceOver.
Tap "On" next to VoiceOver. Then double-tap "On" to turn it off. -
I am having issues setting up my appletv. I made the error of setting it up without having itunes on my computer. I can't get the remote to work, the light isn't on the box, and I can't get it to reset to factory default. I don't have a "-" key on my remote. I held the menu button down with every button on the remote without success.
Please help!!Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

You should take it right back to the Genius Bar. After they fix or replace it, make sure you can text, call and use all the functions before you leave the store.

I restored the software but it isn't there.
You cannot delete this icon as its preinstalled on the iPhone. You may have inadvertently moved it to another page or into a folder. I would suggest you look on all the pages and in all folders or alternatively do a search on your iPhone. It will at least tell you if they are still there but unfortunately not where. You could also do a home screen layout reset settings>general>reset>reset home screen layout.

You can't do that. Apps are tied to the original ID that is used to purchase them. The only way to do that is to purchase them again.

Have you tried restarting the devices by holding down the home and power button for about ten seconds. I would also try restarting your router/modem. -

After creating your table, Tap the Tab marked "+" and select "Form" - you will be asked which table to use. (You should get into the habit of naming your tables - if the table name isn't visible, select the table and tap the Styles (Brush) Menu > Table > Turn ON table Name, then double tap on the Table to edit it.)
Select the table you wish to to fill with a form and you will see a new form based on the header data.
The form will allow you to add one row at a time and when you get to the last row, there is an option at the bottom of the form to add a new row using the "+" button. At the top of the form is the row header which you can rename by double tapping.
You can also rename the form on the Tab by double tapping on the name.
