My rear camera has not been working ever since I have updated. Should I visit the apple store or wait for 7.0.3?
WORKAROUND FOUND ! Download and install "Awesome Camera" app and take a picture with that app. After 1-2 seconds of standby, it will work. Then you can go back to default Camera app which would work again.Please let me know

I just tried to sync my phone to my itunes acct to load new music onto my phone and it gave me a message saying that it was unable to sync b/c "the sync session failed to start". It let me download all pictures, but would not let me do anything else and just kept repeating the same message. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

I have an iphone 4s with ios 6. I am trying to setup a new exchange email account. I need the back slash but it does not show up on the keyboard. I know it is supposed to be on the +key (and is for other apps) but for some reason it is not available when setting up an email account. Is this on purpose or am I doing something wrong?
I can tell you that with Sprint their coverage area isn't as good as Verizon or AT&T.
Are you sending these imessage while on wifi or cellular data? Also your husband would need to be in a good coverage area.
Usually when imessage is unavailable it will send it as a text. Does your husband receive your imessage as a text? -
I have a iphone 4s with ios 8.3 and I used to be able to sync only a week or two of emails from outlook email. Now it won't let me do that and it syncs all my inbox. How can I change it back to sync less. I can't find the right place.
I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

I have an iPhone 6 with IOS 8.1.3. When I go to the landscape view in Safari, the bookmark page appears and takes up one half of the screen. How can I get rid of the bookmark page so I can use the whole screen to what I am browsing?

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 4.2.6. I recently received an iPad with IOS5.1.1. I want to update my IOS on my phone but the computer I use is no longer hooked up to the Internet. What do I need to do? To update your phone requires using the latest version of iTunes, on your computer, as well as Internet access. The update to iOS 5.0 or higher is an erase/restore deal, so you not only have to make sure all of the content, currently on your phone, is on your computer and accessible, you need to update iTunes first, have Internet access, then update your phone. There is no way around this fact. You could go to an Apple store or use another computer, but you run the risk of losing all of your data it you do that.

Hi! I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.3 and I have iTunes 11.1.3.8. on my Windows 8. Now I can't sync my iPhone, because the device is not recognised by iTunes. Somebody have any idea why, or what can I do (except refresh the iPhone software) ?

Have you tried mimising the mail app, double tap hom ebutton, hold the app where it appears along the bottom of the screen until it wiggles and then tap on minus sign. Tap once on home button and then open the mail app again

I did sync my phone on a regular basis and I think the memos should be on the desktop computer. I tried to do a restore function but I got a message saying there was not enough room on the iPhone. How much room is needed?generally you need 1.90gb
what you can do is back up your phone to your computer before doing the update, just as a precaution. -

What version of iTunes do you have installed? If you are trying to update to iOS 6 you need iTunes 10.7 or later.

First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

You're probably running into the servers simply being swamped. Thousands of people are all going for the software update at the same time. Give it a try again and if that doesn't work, then try plugging it into your computer and trying it that way.
I didn't get a notion of the size, it doesn't seem to be as big as the 700 meg 5.0 update, but it did take me 20+ minutes to download via cable internet so it's a large file. That in and of itself takes a while.
If you're trying to download it directly to your iPhone, you'll need to be on wifi since I'm sure it's well over the 20 meg file size limit for 3G. -

I only get the option to go directly to 7.0.4 (iTunes) which is a bad idea for an iPhone 4 as everyone knows. I should have the right to choose which version I want to upgrade to, it makes no sense to have iOS 7 on iPhone 4. Please advise.
Thanks in advance!Many people who have the iPhone 4 running iOS 7 have no performance problems, and a number have posted in these forums to say so, and they mean the entire iPhone, not just phone calls. So it is by no means predetermined that you would have performance problems should you upgrade.
But regardless, as tonefox said, you have no choice. You either need to stay with iOS 5.1.1, or you'll need to accept the upgrade to iOS 7.0.4. There is no way to upgrade to any intermediate version.
