I have an iPhone 5 and I can send text messages but have been getting complaints when people have said they text me but I don't text back, I don't seem to recieve all my text messages ? Who should I phone to ask for help or could someone help me please?
Please will someone help me decide what I should do ? Should I phone my provider or go in to the shop?

I have an Iphone 3g and i can't turn on, but if i plug it on the Iphone charger i can see the Apple Logo but it quickly disappears(Apple Logo SOD) When I connect it to the computer it won't charge and it won't turn on, I tried DFU mode and it doesn't work. I tried STABBING IT(lol, it works sometimes) and i doesn't work again. If i can't connect it to the computer i can recover it but i know that it still works. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!

Apple suggest a removal and re-install of iTunes to get over the 1601 / 1602 error message.
Other sites suggest trying a different USB socket… direct to the PC / Mac not a hub.

My wife recently switched from an iPhone to a Samsung and she can send texts but she can't receive them nor receive emails. Her iPhone has had her info removed and the settings have all been set to default. What else does she need to do to correct this?

Mail is set up and I can send e mails but since 1st of June I cannot receive, I have tried connection doctor everything seems fine, any ideas?
There are two entirely different paths involved here; SMTP for send and either POP or IMAP receive. Check your receive path. Confirm username, password and the POP or IMAP server identity. Also check directly with your mail provider, and ensure the POP or IMAP server is functioning and online, and the provider hasn't changed their particular POP or IMAP configuration requirements.

hey, I just reset my Apple ID and suddenly much of my Iphone text history disappeared. and I can send texts, but not receive any. what do I do? is this related to AppleID, or is the text issue from something else? thx!

As stated I live in italy, a year ago have purchased an iphone 3gs from vodafone company. I now have purchased an Iphone 4 and have moved that cip in the new phone.
In the old Iphone 3gs I have placed another cip from a different company here in Italy TIM and now cannot make calls nor send text messages since I get the following error message "error in pdp authentication". Can anyone help me in understanding what do I need to do??

The computer I use for Itunes (my laptop) only has XP so I can't use ICloud:(
I have a desktop that operates using with Vista.
I downloaded 10.5 and sought to sync my two iphones and two ipads with the desktop in order to use ICloud. However I got warning messages that if I synced with this computer that had none of my extensive library of apps, music, podcasts, etc. would be on it, I would lose it all.
I did authorize the computer. I knew enough to do that but am terrified that I will lose everything that I have accumulated and still won't be able to use ICloud.
Isn't there a way to do this? Shift my library FROM my devices to the desktop?
ThanksThis is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. Can’t believe we have to do such a bass-ackwards kludge! -
This may be a silly question but I can't find my pictures. I have photo stream setup on my iPad 2 and my iPhone 5. I also have iCloud on and I setup my email address. I even tried turning photo stream off and back on. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

The My Photo Stream album does not appear when iCloud Photo Library is enabled. If this feature is enabled on your iPhone, it's storing your iPhone's photos in the cloud.

When this number texts me it comes through as their email address, even though they are in my contacts with the phone number. I have deleted the number and re input ....

my iphone 4s was linked to itunes on my home laptop for backups and syncing. at work yesterday i updated itunes to 11 and later on i plugged in my phone to listen to music and my phone registered to work computer and when i plugged into my home laptop it will not reconise it for backups etc, how do i get my phone to register back to my laptop.

I can send video's but cannot receive them?
I have an iPhone 4. I can send video's but cannot receive them. This problem only started happening 2 weeks ago. Prior to that I had no problems receiving video's. Try closing all of your open apps, double click the home button when the multi-task screen comes up then hold your finger on a app until it start to wiggle and a red minus sign show up in the upper left corner. Tap the red minus sign until all of your apps are closed. Then restart your iPhone and try to receive a video.
