I have an iPhone 5, iPad, and just bought a macbook air. how do i get everything to work together?
my old laptop is still being recognized as the main itunes. All my music is displaced on my phone and different computers. I can't seem to get my work email to be recognized on my macbook air! So frustrating!!
you got to be a little more systematic and give us some facts to help you.
1. you transfer all your data to your MBA (is the old computer a MAC? then use the http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4413?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US)
2. setup all your email accounts on your MBA
4. Setup icloud on MBA
5. you then can synchronize ipad and iphone with your MBA - this will replace all your data on them with the data on your MBA
6. setup icloud on iphone and ipad

I was recently prompted to update iPhoto and make changes to the library. I did it but it keeps hanging up in step 5 or 6 and won't complete the cycle. I have used force quit, rebooted and started again several times. How do i get this to work?
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
If that fails:
Restore from your back up, repair the Library and try again. -
I have a macbook pro retina and a macbook air which I just purchased, I want to share all of the music on the retina with the air.
The simplest way is to use an external USB drive. Copy the iTunes folder to the drive while it's connected to your MBP. When done eject the drive. Connect the drive to the MBA. Navigate in the Finder to the /Home/Music/ folder on the MBA. Copy the iTunes folder from the external drive into the /Home/Music/ folder.
OS X Mountain Lion- Drag and drop.
If you have a backup of your MBP, then you can use it to restore the /Home/Music/iTunes/ folder to the MBA. -

I am trying to transfer all my photos, documents, and music from my previous Mac to my new one and this new one can barely hold any of the files. Why would that be happening? What can I do to have all of my documents avalaible to me?

Bruce you can do a lot but you need to be specific. Your question is so general it's impossible to get an idea what you have interest in doing. However the first place I'd start is looking into sharing on your System Preferences and before you start punching in preferences get yourself a book at a bookstore about OS X and study a little on sharing and OS X in general. I have an ipad and just bought a second one for my daughter and she wants all my music on her ipad. All the music is under my itunes account yet she has her own itunes account so she can have her own apps and purchase apps with gift cards (She's only 9)
I subscibe to music match under my account but it wont let me put my music on her ipad under hers or even my itunes account. I get some sort of 90 day error message. How do i get around this so I can let her have my music on her ipad?iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

How can i get my itunes library on my fiances' iphone 5? I have an iphone 4s, ipad and a Mac book pro. I thought I could have my music on up to ten different devises? I signed in on his phone and my music is in his itunes account but it is not in his music file.
I regret to say that you need a new computer. That G5, as good as it still is, simply cannot run the required software to be used with the latest iPhones and other software.

I have 3 iPhones, one iPad and 2 PC's, all using the same iTunes account. I want to be able to have each iPhone keep their own list of accounts and music list and the I pad different as well. I want to 2 PC's music list to match. How do I do this?
Additionally, when I connected iPhone #3 to one PC, it removed the contacts from #3 and replaced it with contacts from iPhone #2. How do I get those contacts back and prevent this from happening again?Hey joshuafromisr,
If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

I have an iPhone 4S, iPad and MacBook Air. I'm looking for a program or app that I can sync though iCloud that will allow me to us all of these devices to track time spent on projects each day along with the ability to add specific information about each project. I recommend you consider Omnifocus. It is a task management program which runs on the Mac, Iphone & Ipad. I use it for task management and project management. It let's you store additional information as well. I sync all three devices through a Mobile Me account and I can enter data on any device and it is available on all devices. I believe you can also sync through Dropbox. I'm not sure that you can sync through iCloud yet. The link to their website is: www.omnigroup.com. There may be less expensive alternatives, but this one meets my needs and syncs very well across all devices.

Hello all, Recently moved up to CS5.5 from PE8 and hoping for some advise before starting my main project. Project will be approx 1hr long, wish to be able to burn finished product to DVD as well as Blu Ray. Most footage has been shot so far with Son
