I have an iPhone 5s and once every few weeks my texts will stop sending.

I'll receive an error message when I try to send them out, it doesn't matter if I'm sending an imessage or regular text. I can receive imessages and SMS and make outgoing calls (I haven't tested to see if I can receive incoming calls). It happens randomly and will happen both when I have a good LTE signal or am connected to wifi.
Does anyone else have this problem, or know why it happens and how to combat it?

I'm sorry for any intermittent issues with your iPhone 5s with making calls and sending messages. You mentioned that it happens randomly. When did this begin? do you notice any pattern at all, like a specific location, specific contacts, anyone with a certain carrier? Is there anything at all that you notice this being an issue? Please share some additional details with me.

To check your warranty status, find your serial number in Settings > General > About > Serial Number. Then enter it at http://selfsolve.apple.com.
Did you try a different computer/outlet as well as different chargers?

I have an iphone 5s and my friend has an iphone 4. Our imessages sometimes work perfectly fine but lately they haven't been getting to me until ten minutes later or even an hour later. With my other friend he has an android and I'll say something then he'll say something but it's like my messages aren't sending so then we have this jumbled up conversation thats confusing. Today ,my friend with the iphone,I didn't get one of his messages until 3 pm when he sent it last night at 11 pm. Is there anything to fix this?

I was having a similar problem but only when answering calls. A reset seems to have fixed it. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If that doesn't do it you may need to contact Apple Care or take it in for repair.

I have an iPhone 5 and suddenly 1 of my Gmail accounts is not sending or receiving mail

I'm getting an error msg for 1 of my gmail accts. "cannot get mail", "server imap.gmail.com" not responding. I've deleted and reinstalled the accounts, triple checked all info in settings. All software is up to date.

Resolution
Check that your device is connected to the Internet by opening Safari and loading a webpage, such asgoogle.com. If you cannot connect to the Internet, try the steps in this article.
If you have other email accounts on the device, check if those accounts can send and receive email.
If the issue is isolated only to the affected Gmail account, visit this website: https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha.
Complete the form to unlock the account.
Once the account has been unlocked, check that the issue is resolved on the iPhone or iPod touch. If not, remove the affected Gmail account from the device and add it to the device again: Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars > Add Account > Gmail.

I have an iPhone 5 and the new-style proper apple earphones will not work in it. Other cheaper earphones will but they are awful, and I have tried the apple ones in other phones and apple devices and they work fine as earphones, so why not in my iPhone?

so basically the official apple headphones work in other iPads, iPhones and computers but they won't work in my iPhone 5. So does this mean there is an issue with my jack? But why do any other alternative earphones work and it's just the apple ones which don't? Could be a contact problem. There are certain places inside the headset port where proper contact is needed for the various functions the Apple headset has, for example the Remote/microphone unit that cheaper headphones don't have.
You should have your phone checked by an Authorized Apple Service provider or by visiting an Apple Store next to your place.

Is it specifically asking for a pincode for the SIM? If so you will need to contact your cell carrier.

IMac Freezes Every Few Weeks With Black Or Coloured Screen?

Every few weeks my iMac will suddenly freeze, the screen going black or white or pink etc.
The only way I can get the computer back is to hold down the power button to force a shutdown.
Then after a restart everything is OK for a few more weeks.
Usually it occurs when I am on the internet. I click on something and suddenly the computer is frozen. (I think it once did it when I pressed the "Post Message" button on the ASC !)
I am on OS X 10.6.8 and usually use Safari.

Get your AppleCare Protection Plan in gear fast! And be sure you're backing up regularly. I had a similar problem with my 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo that started 2 months before my AppleCare was due to expire. Worked with Apple phone support for those 2 months plus another few weeks (during which the problems grew worse) which were covered since I reported the problem before expiration. Finally wound up taking the iMac to an Apple store genius who replaced the logic board, video card, and disk drive (with a 1 TB drive). Works great now. I'm very thankful that I got AppleCare on this unit since I had a similar problem with my old G5 iMac for which I didn't have AppleCare, and it got worse and worse, finally expired, never to be resuscitated.

I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know!

Hey, There are afew things you can try.
- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

The Apple genius at the Apple store told me this would work. It failed. Basically, updating your iPhone 3GS to iOS5 wipes your 3GS of its data so you can't really do this. Some data worked. Music, photos etc didn't work at all.
I suggest avoiding iCloud completely for a few weeks until Apple gets it working.
