I have an issue running a linear SWF story
I have about a day to fix a problem I am having.
Basically i created a short story and linked each SWF file to the next scene via buttons, to make it as quick loading as possible. When previewed in Flash to see if it works, it works fine. When each SWF is previewed in a Browser, it works fine.
Scene1 -> Scene2 -> Scene3, and so on.
It worked fine when i previewed it in Flash, but as soon as i place the SWF in Dreamweaver, it plays the 1st scene, but won't play the linked SWF when i click on the next button (When previewing)..
Any ideas?
If the files are in a different directory than the html page, that will be the problem. When you place an swf in a web page, the directory of the html page becomes the loading reference for any files your swf loads... it is the same as if you placed the swf in that directory anyways.
If you want to keep the swf's in a separate directory, then you need to adjust the path they use to target the other swfs to be as if they are in the html page directory. You do not have to put them in the same directory as the html page, you just have to code the targeting of any files they load as if the file doing the loading is in that folder.

Does Firefox 25.0.01 have any issues running Lumosity games?

At times my direction arrow keys do not work in Lumosity, when depressing the key, Lumosity does not respond, this is only happening on my DeskTop, my Laptop also runs Firefox 25.0.01, yet it experiences no problems. Any complaints along this line?
This problem has started in just the past two weeks (Nov. '13.) Lumosity suggests that I run Google Chrome as a potential fix. Issue running a report from SAP Business One
I have an issue running a particular report from SAP Business One. I am using Crystal Reports Add-On, all of the reports are working fine except one. When accessing the last page of the report or any page from inside the report the followiong error appears in the dialog box:

Do you mean you have a Main report that is written based on SQL Command and there are 8 subreports linked to the main report?
If that is the case, I assume when user select 'Document Type" eg invoice, it will pass that to the subreport and retrieve information?
This is how I will approach it.
1. Make sure the connection is consistent, if you are using ODBC(RDO) then make sure that is the same for main and subreport. You can check that in Set database connection. Right click on the connection, look at the Properties. Don't assume that the name is the same, eg: SBO_DemoUS, they are all ODBC(RDO) for instannce.
In Crystal, when you are using different connection, it will just prompts you a warning message and it will still run.
2. Delete all and only keep one subreport, example AR invoice and see it will still give a problem.
Replace the parameter with a set value in Record selection in subreport and see what happen. -
I can't seem to get my iMac (late 2009 model) into automatic sleep mode. If I manually put it into sleep I don't have any issues.
I used to solve the issue by running "PleaseSleep" application but that doesn't work anymore since Lion. I now want to fix the underlying problem.
I'm not running any weird background processes and in my energy saver settings I've tagged "put the hard disk to sleep when possible:, "allow power button to put computer to sleep" and "automatically reduce brigthness". All pretty standard.

For me it was the DynDNS Updater preventing my iMac from automatically entering sleep mode.
To my knowledge the cause of this sleep problem can only be a peripheral device or a process. So I suggest to first unplug all peripherals and test whether that's the cause. If not, I suggest to terminate one process after another and to test automatic entering of sleep mode after each. Start with user processes; continue with system process if necessary.
At least that's the way I found the offending process. Fortunately, I was able to change the configuration of that process to allow again automatic entering of sleep mode.

Open browser then close no browser is open and then click to re-open the browser it says it is still running and cannot get another browser for about a 45 sec....have Windows XP and didn't have the issue on 3.6 version.

Trying to find out if Acrobat 6.0 will run in windows 8.0. it is telling me that I have compatiblity issues.
It will likely have problems. The first question is "do Acrobat and Distiller programs both work?" Try opening them and see if they are functional. The print driver (Adobe PDF) will probably not install and AcroTray that automates the printing process will probably not work (they don't in Win7). If the answer to the first question is yes, then download a PS driver from Adobe or possibly one of the HP color PS drivers and install. Edit the properties of the new printer to change the name to Adobe PDF and set the port to FILE. If all works, you will be able to print to the Adobe PDF printer to get a PS file (PRN extension normally). That file can be opened in Distiller to create a PDF. If these steps fail, then you will need to purchase a new version of Acrobat (XI).

I had an issue running Bridge CS6 on my laptop yesterday and after failing to troubleshoot I un-installed it from my system but have yet to find any way to download/reinstall it. I have web design premium and tried uninstalling/reinstalling photoshop and illutsrator as I'd seen bridge was coupled with those but had no luck. Is it possible to download bridge as a stand alone with a web design premium license for cs6

I have a new Macbook pro and need to run some Windows software, it appears "Parallel" should work well from what I've have read. Will I have any issues or problems accessing and printing from various printers on my Windows 7 network within Parallel? Is Parallel in fact the best way to go?
First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.

On my iPhone 5, upon receiving a picture, when I touch the arrow to open it I just get a blank loading screen that never loads the pic! Didn't have this issue on my iPhone 4 running OS 6. Is anyone else having this issue?

When I go to finder and view as columns so that the right column will open a preview of the file, I get the endless spinning graphic and when I go to Force Quit, it shows that Finder has stopped responding. I know many have this issue but i can't find a solution to the problem. i get message saying insuffisiant disk space in the volume iPhoto library and i have plenty of space available. i have the new macbook pro with retina display. i have never seen this message before and i have 2 other macbooks and have had many other also. i am assuming this is a problem with the new macbook retina. does anyone know the exact fix to this issue? i have seen many sugestions to try to fix this issue but none have solved the issue for anyone that i can find in the Apple Support Community. thank for looking into this in advance.
******A true apple fan********Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.
