Lets see if we can get you back to taking calls normally again. Start your troubleshooting with the article below and go through checking to making sure that you are up to date with your iOS as well as a simple restart on your iPhone.

I have an issue with BC. When the shopping cart is used it takes stock out of inventory and holds it, regardless of whether or not a customer proceeds to purchase. OK.
To make matters worse, the stock is only cleared from the shopping cart when the customer closes the browser - not when they close the shopping window.
Now lets say a customer doesn't close their browser for a month - it happens! .. when their stock is finally returned it may throw out our stock levels that have in the meanwhile been adjusted. So their stock will be added on top of an accurate stock take, putting stock in that isnt really available.
This is causing us mayhem.
We have not yet seen if stock is actually returned at all. In the test we did today where we filled a shopping cart then closed the browser without making a purchase, the stock was not returned immediately. So we dont even know when it will be returned - thats IF a customer actually closes their browser. Any solutions out there?

The way stock is managed in this situation is desirable for many in that case otherwise shopping on a site and adding to cart would not be viable or use friendly.
What you mention about not closing a browser though is a case that is not true. IF you go into the shop settings in the admin you can see the cart restore timer which is by default 24 hours but you can change this to as low as 1 hour if you wish. -

I have an issue with some PDF documents & some MS Office documents, notably MS Word when received in eMail as attachments not displaying properly on iPhones, iPad 2s & new iPads?
PDF docs - areas of the doc only show as grey splotches regardles of viewer
MS Word Docs -
inserted graphics don't display at all,
tables & lists especially with borders are broken &

tables & lists missing the 1st 1-2 lines of the lists/tables.
This is replicated on iPhone 4s, iPhone 4Ss, iPad 2s, iPad new (x2)

There is no problems reading/seeing these PDF & Word docs on anything other than iDevices.
This is rather critical for us & if not quickly fixed/rectified will prevent us from further purchases of these devices
Rolling back to iOS 5.0.1 or prior I believe isn't possible because of the BaseBand update(?) & isn't much of an option because of the quite noticeable Battery/Charging/WiFi improvements in 5.1 & 5.1.1Hi,
I logged a call with AppleCare & have since had explained why this occurs (some time ago)
I'll try to explain what was indicated to me.
iOS has a limited Font Set & this affects what PDFs can display. You need to use iOS supported fonts in your PDFs to see/read them properly

Regards MS office docs, iOS doesn't have much of an API to work with MS Office documents at all so is stuck with 3rd Party Apps to try to do it.
Unfortunately Mail in/on iOS uses the API to attempt to open/use MS Office attachments unless you tell it to use an App to open the attachment.
I have had success opening & reading MS office docs now with CloudOn, but find it slow & very awkward to use.
Not too sure if this helps others, but at least it explains why this is occurring -

Hi ... Suddenly I have this problem with my iPhone4 . Whenever I am dialling or receiving calls, I am not audible at the other end , but if I am putting phone on speaker then I am audible to other person .Not sure if any setting is changed or device issue. Please suggest or help.

The first thing to try is changing your DNS settings - and for that you need to open System Preferences, then the
Network section.
In Network - click on Advanced - then the DNS tab
under DNS servers - use the + button to enter two extra lines
either these, from google dns
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
or from OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
then click OK & then 'Apply'
You would need to do that seperately for the Cable (Ethernet) settings and Wireless (Airport) -

I have the latest iOS version (7.1) on my iPhone 5.
I haven't had any hardware issues before, but 2 days ago something strange has began happening.
Strange issue with speaker - it stays on after a call has ended and plays the sounds that it gets from the microphone.
Only way to stop it is to make another call and hang up.
Any ideas?oops...we're in the same boat....look m8 that ios 7.1 is rubish i recently after updating mine the ear stop working i called apple customer care we went throu wiv that adviser we restore the phone up 2...3 times nofin happen then da guy told me finally it was not a software problem....but hardware problem and they booked me up 2 take it 2 the near apple store because it is only from apple u can get da matter fixed however if your phone where unlocked outside your network provider or again from the coner street tech....? 4get cos once those form street unlock your phone you just have the same cover or boby let say it ....but your IMEI and all manufacture detail will changed........the good news is if your phone still have manufacture waranty iz free from apple if your waranty run out? apple will ask you 2 pay up 290£.....

I have three issues with Creative Cloud
I have three issues with CC:
1. I want to be able to EDIT my work when I don't have income. The desktop model supported this. The cloud model does not, and that is unacceptable.
2. Adobe can keep raising the price, because they will be holding us all hostage. Sure at some point a percentage of CC users would drop off, but all that means is that Adobe can milk the absolute most from us using this model. It's not a vehicle for innovation, it's a vehicle for exploitation.
3. F--- the cloud. I'll be keeping my work on my laptop, thank you very much.what's your home version (click help>about) and was that just a warning so you were able to open the file?

After i bougth Creative's sound card "Sound blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio" and installed it, everything was allright and my microphone was working great, but this was when I used Windows XP, when i started to use Windows 7, it suddenly was very weak and i almost didn't heard it.
Currently, I have bouth Windows XP and Windows 7 installed, so I know the microphone is working when I am switching up between the OS, because it still works good on Windows XP.
If you can help please tell me.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit, I made sure the flexijack settings in the Audio controll panel are set to microphone and not line in, in the Windows 7 audio controll I have set the microphone volum to maximum and made sure it is configured properly.

I have a MacBook 5,1 (13.3" aluminum from 2007 or 2008). Automatic updates will only let me get to OSX 10.5.8. Can I upgrade to Snow Leopard, Lion 10.6 or even 10.6.8? Also, will I have any issues with my iPhone if it's updated to iOS 7.1?

You can upgrade direct from 10.6.8 to 10.8 Mountain Lion without going through 10.7 Lion with the Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody. The Model 5,1 will probably run 10.9 Mavricks when it comes out.
10.8 Mountain Lion is a download from the App Store, the price is $19.99.
Mountain Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications.
