As stated I live in italy, a year ago have purchased an iphone 3gs from vodafone company. I now have purchased an Iphone 4 and have moved that cip in the new phone.

I purchased a TV series and Itunes indicated the programme was downloading onto my computer. Once that was done I tried to view the downloaded programme but the only viewing option was directly via internet. I have very poor and unstable internet reception (rural area) so I can only view programmes I can download. The programme does NOT appear on my 'downloads' in Itunes and I am unable to find any indicator as to how I can 're' download the programme. All suggestions are welcome.

The external DVD/CD Writer will Not appear on your desktop when you attach it to your iMac. It will appear in "Finder", which is in your Dock.

A computer tech changed my font from 150% where I had it to 200% but that was annoying to have to scroll back and forth so much.
I put it back to 150% but now it is much smaller than it was the last time I had it at 150%. Other people with good vision have commented that my font is too small for them and it is 150%. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Hmm, there are two separate things there.
You can enlarge your view using zoom, and there are add-ons to adjust the toolbar area and content area separately if needed.
But the font you use to compose the message is more likely to be viewed at 100% on the receiving end, so you may need to bump up your default font size for the convenience of your correspondents. You should only use one Apple ID for both phones. All apps that you bought for your 3 are linked forever to the Apple ID used to buy them. If you set up your iPhone 5 as a new phone, rather than restoring from a backup of the 3, you will lose the messages, but you can sync to get the pix, contacts and music. It is safer to do it as a new phone, because sometimes restoring a backup from an earlier version of the phone can cause problems in the new phone (as told to me by an Apple store "genius" two days ago.)

Thanks Don-yes i'm using the correct apple id and yes I've plugged the phone into the computer-that's the problem, my computer doesn't recognise my phone anymore altho it comes up in iTunes library it won't sync anymore

Simply connect them. One computer with one iTunes can manage multiple devices. They're tracked by S/N but you might wish to assign them unique names so that you can track them yourself.
The only minor issue is app updating and purchases while on the computer. It's necessary to log out and back in to the "correct" ID. Much easier to do these things from the iPods.

Read your manual (you have a bookmark to it in Safari on your iPhone or put iBooks on your iPhone and download the manual from the iBookStore) and it will show you how to remove the microSIM from your iPhone. AT&T is not tourist friendly and does not offer a pay as you go plan for visitors with an iPhone. If you are going to be here for a short time you can probably buy a pay as you go microSIM and use it before AT&T notices, if it is going to be for a long time that won't work.
There is a 3rd party company that will sell you a microSIM that will work with AT&T but they are pretty pricey.
Finally, you can get a pay as you go microSIM from T-Mobile to work with your iPhone but you will only have EDGE data speeds.

Also check that the ports 5353 and 5354 (Bonjour (mDNSResponder), AirPlay, Home Sharing, Printer Discovery) are open on Windows Firewall.
