I have an old ipod that i have not used in a very long time, ive had it on a charger now for over an hour and i still cnnot get my ipod to turn on, how can i fix my problem, i just downloaded the new version of itunes aswell, so i know its not my itunes.

The battery has completely discharged and will take overnight to recharge, so don't expect much in an hour.
The battery has deep discharged and is now dead. It will never recharge and should be replaced.

Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.

I click on the Thunderbird shortcut and Windows immediately tells me the programme has stopped working. It then tells me that "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". Is there a fix available for this? If not should I download the latest version of Thunderbird? i download a ring tone maker, but am tying toadd it to my phone in itunes an it doesnt work, i read that i can unnistall the newe version of itunes an install the older version, i did that but when i try to open i tunes it gives me this messgage "the file itunes library cannot be read because it was created by a newe version of itunes" how do i fix this to use the older version of itunes the 10 something is worthless.
Try following steps and test one at a time:
1. Restart computer, right mouse click iTunes icon and select "Run As Administrator"
2. If that does not work, check to see if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
Restart Windows.
3. If that fails or you don't see ApsDaemon.exe in the Processes, refer to following article to remove SC files:

4. If that fails, repair or reinstall your Quicktime. START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS N FEATURES / hightlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR. -

Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer. -
I just downloaded the new version of Firefox (ver 4). Now when I open Firefox I get the address bar but the information part of my screen is blank. This happens on all web sites. How do I fix this? IE works fine.
Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

If you're talking about closing running apps, they changed it up a bit from iOS6. Now you just double click the home button to bring up the running apps, side scroll to the app you want to close, then just swipe up.

I have an iPod classic 30GB. I've just got a new laptop and i have transferred my itunes library from my old laptop to my new one. I've also updated my library substantially, and want to erase everything from my ipod and sync the new library onto it. However, it's been connected for an hour and is still saying 'determining tracks to sync'. Is this normal? How long should it take, if my new library is about 10.5GB large?
When you switched chargers, did you use the 10 watt chargers designed for the iPad? Did you also change the connecting wires? Have you tried power off, hold the sleep/power button until the red slider appears and slide to off. Then plug the iPad in?
If none of that is working, it could be a bad 30-pin connector in the iPad...an Apple genius bar tech can test and see if that is the problem. -
I'm looking for a solution for this as it is taking TOO long. I also did the new update on my mini ipad this morning, i use it most of the time. I am looking for a way to delete photos that have been imported from emails and such. The new update changed the format and I can't find how to do so. Answers anyone???

I have a brand new HP dv8t laptop that is straight from the manufacturer 2 days ago.
Last night, I attempted to download and installed the latest version of Firefox. After installing, it worked great for an hour or so (3.4 different sessions).
Then, this morning when I came back to the computer, Firefox crashes at startup and gives me the option of finding a solution online or quitting the program.
How aggravating!
I have installed this same version on 2 other computers that I own, without any issue.
I have attempted to uninstall Firefox from the dv8 and reinstalling, to no avail.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side. -

Do you have the "Green Arrow" icon on one of your toolbars? That usually will list your most recent downloads with a button to open the folder where they are saved.
If you don't have that, you can open the full download list using either:
* Ctrl+j
* Tools > Downloads
* History > Show All History, then click Downloads in the left column
Can you find the download listed there and click the "Open Containing Folder" button?
Are you downloading Flash or Acrobat/Reader?

For Acrobat/Reader, you may not need an update.
Firefox's plugin check site only recognizes the Adobe XI (11) series as current, but if you have checked for updates in your Adobe Reader X or Adobe Acrobat X product (Help > Check for Updates) then you do not need to update the plugin. The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

I know the files were vital to iPhoto because I can't open it now. Can you restore these files?
Probablhy not unless you know exactly what needs to be restored
You need to restore the entire library from your backup before these files were deleted - it is not adviseable to upgrade the iPhoto application until you resolve your iphoto library problem
In the future always remember the number one rule of iPhoto - NEVER make and changes of any sort to the structrue or content of the iPhoto library

It said that I had an update, so I updated it and now my Iphone won't connect to Itunes. Please help!
It has been shown there are problems with the latest update of iTunes and Windows computers. What you need to do is remove and reinstall iTunes, and make sure that you follow the steps in this support document exactly. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923. If you do not follow them exactly, you will just compound your problems. Once you do this, you should have no trouble having the phone recognized in iTunes.

I am in my iTunes application and when I press the link to connect to the iTunes Store, it starts churning, and churning, but never connects. It has churned for hours and when I finally click the "X" to close it, I get error code 11222.
