Not without erasing what is currently on the iPod first, since an iPod can only be synced with one computer/iTunes library at a time.
A better way to go about it, is to copy everything currently on the iPod to your new iTunes library first. Then connect it to iTunes and either choose the Erase and Sync option or restore the device to allow it to start syncing with the new library.

you can use the same itunes id for purchases and so on, but have separate icloud id's for imessaging and all the icloud stuff. it's not preferable, but it isn't a problem either.

Help. My old @us.army.mil email address was terminated by the army. I used that address to register my first apple id account on my iPad. I can't remember my original Apple ID number and if I ask to reset my password, Apple sends the reset link to my old non-working email address. I have a new gmail address and a new Apple ID number associated with that address. How do I get my iPad to use my new gmail address and new apple ID number? Remember, I can't log out of my old account because I can't remember the password. Amd Apple will only reset the password by sending a link to my old, non functioning army email account. My daughter and I share an iTunes account and have for 5 years. I want to separate her and my songs and establish a separate account for her.
How can I do this without repurchasing all of her songs. She has over 7,000?

You can create a new account for her, but all existing purchases/downloads will remain tied to your existing account, and you can't transfer them to the new account. As long as that account is authorised on the computer's iTunes that she will be syncing any devices to, and those songs are on that computer, then she should be able to continue to use them.

1. yes, the blackberry.net email is no longer available... and quite honestly, in my opinion, this is a good thing. The blackberry.net email is not available anywhere except ON your BlackBerry, you cannot view it anywhere but on the handheld device itself and no backup otherwise. Get a free gmail, yahoo or Outlook.com account.

I need to transfer my Itune to another computer which I am going to connect the same ipod. How am I going to do it so that I will still have my songs?

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

The above places the whole library on a different computer but is a bit much to do on a regular basis.

I have a jailbroken iphone 4 still running on 4.3.2 firmware and I would like to get rid of the jailbreak and update it to 5. I understand that it will take my jailbreak off, which I have no problem with, but I'm terrified to plug into the computer. You just need to sign out on the Mac, everything will be on iCloud but no longer on the Mac.

No, syncing an additional iDevice to a computer will have no affect on the original.
Syncing is per device.
Connect the new device, select the content desired to sync and sync.

TS1389 I had an hotmail account many years ago, and since then got a yahoo account. I tried to play a song that was purchased on hotmail, however I don't think that account exists any more and I can't play those songs?

I had a hotmail account many years ago and purchased several ITunes. I found some of those old songs and tried to play them but needed authorization to do so. It keeps putting up this old account, and the passwords keeps coming up wrong? Since I don't use that old account, it is no longer in use. I do have a new Yahoo account with I Tunes, but won't let me use it for the old songs.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I ask because I primarily use my work laptop which has limited space so I usually convert my purchases to 160k from 256k in order to save space. I want to sign up for iTunes Match but I'd like to know before I do so I can understand how I will have to set up my library.

How do you mean? If you down-convert purchased tracks you've fundamentally changed the files so iTunes can no longer recoginize them as "purchased." And, indeed, they no longer are since they are brand new files. Of course these new files will only be "matched" or "uploaded."
