I have an 'Unknown error' message pop up when i try and sign in on itunes
I have never had a problem signing in until now, I tried to sign in to add a song to my wish list and itunes wanted my password for my Apple ID. I put it in and a red message saying 'unknown error' popped up. I have reset my password and it still won't work and I have windows 7 if that helps.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
I seem to be having the exact same problem ON MY iMAC using Mountain Lion. No problem signing in until today. I think I signed in during the preceding 5 days. Tried to sign in on my iMac to update iPhone apps, and then to sign in to iTunes Store. Each time when I typed my password I got a red "unknown error." (NO error number.) I changed my password but no luck. I contacted Apple Support which walked me through many steps but, again, to no avail. I was able to use Apple ID with new password for my iPhone 5 and App Store on the iMac, just NOT iTunes!

I have a Macbook Pro that I have just renewed and transferred over my old hard drive (also from a Macbook Pro). Now when I turn on the computer and ITunes opens I get error (-50) and then error 5002 when I try to sign in to ITunes Store - Help!
My dealer has tried and failed (twice) to correct this and I have tried deleting the two items in the Itunes folder but no luck!were you able to get help on this? I need help on error 5002 as well. thank you

Hello I have Adobe master pack. When I try and sign on to creative cloud it signs me out. I have tried the 4 suggestions adobe has and when I try to go to their 24/7 chat the chat is closed. How do I correct this?

my ipod touch is stuck on the restore picture and when i try and sync it to itunes i cant sync to itunes because i have a password on my ipod touch and i cant get to the main screen so how do i reset my ipod ?

This is the message I get when u try and install it. The update was made available at around 11 a.m today Wednesday September 18th I am on a wifi network and i took the time (about 20 or so minutes) to install, it seemed like everything was installing but after the long installation wait it wouldn't allow me to download it
I had better success doing this:
Download iTunes 11.1. Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes. Select your device under the Devices heading in the iTunes' sidebar. Click on the Summary tab in iTunes' main window. Click on the Update button. -

Type "0xE8000001" into the search bar at the top of the screen next to "Support".

I bought my xperia z3 on saturday from India. I checked the phone and it was perfect and everything goes fine. On sunday i updated my phone through PC companion( when i connected it shows "a new update is available for my phone") but after that whenever I take my camera app, an error message pops out. It shows " Recording in progress in another app. Cannot record" and it keeps coming ever ( irritating). please do something...
And also I used my walkman app with my MDR XB50 xtra bass headphones (ticking DSEE HX) and while using it when i opens another app like album or something, the song gets stucked for seconds... ( 3GB RAM!!!)

I have iTunes version 11.3.1.2 and a Windows 7 Professional aith Service Pack 1. When I try to print a CD cover from a disc I burned, I get an error message that stops the printing task and shuts down iTunes and tells me once the problem is found they will notify me. When this happened before I got sent a message from Apple that I needed to install a new verion of iTunes. I believe I now have the latest iTunes version. So why can't I print?
Is this the problem below? Does the graphics driver cause the problem?

TS1372 Error 1439 pops up when I try to restore my Ipod
When I try to restore my Ipod. It says I have to restore the Drive D. But it doesn't want to work. what can I do to Correct my Ipod?
I don't know if this will help in your cae but I went through some similar frustrations when my iPod told me it needed to be resorted but iTunes either with crash or get an unknown error message. In my case leaving the iPod on to drain the battery did the trick. After draining the battery, when I connected it to iTunes it resorted fine.

Error when I try and change settings in iTunes
When I try and add audiobooks, iPod games, party shuffle or change iTunes to my default player (thru edit > preferences in iTunes) I receive this error:
An error occurred while updating the default player for audio file types. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation
Now whatever I pick will show in iTunes after the error message. But will be gone when I close iTunes and reopen.
I am the only one who uses this PC I am not sure how I do not have 'enough access privileges' to change ANY thing in iTunes... Any help to make sense of this would be wonderful thank you in advance.
7.02.16 iTunes Windows XPokay lets say I want to add audiobooks to the library in iTunes. I go into edit > preferences, check audiobooks I get the error about 'not having enough permission to change anything.' All the changes I do make will say. I prefer tunes imported to my 60 gig iPod to be in wav not aac I have to change that. Get the error and move on. It is when I shut down iTunes and re-open is the problem. I have to go in and change everything all back the way I want, every time. So yeah iTunes still works but it is not a major thing I am trying to do, just change my preferences. I don't even want to use iTunes any more.
