I have Apple tv and Im trying to activate Netflix on Air play.I need a code but the code doesnt show when I go to Air Play on the apple screen..Why doesnt it show. Also when I enter my id and password for itunes it wont accept it. Need help...
I just hooked up my Apple tv and im having problems already..When i enter my ID and Password for itunes it says that it is not valid,yet I double checked and its correct. Also, when I try to find the code to connect my Net flix account in Air Play the icon for the code is not there.I have wireless internet connection and it says Im connected so thats not the problem. Im ready to return my Apple tv for another product..Does anyone have a fix for this problem??

You do. Your system is either Windows or Mac (or maybe a couple of other less popular choices) and a version of one or the other.
When you set up your machine, you were asked for an administrator user name and password. You need both of these to install software. -

researched online and was told that i had to acess the `purchase` via AppStore where it asks me to log in with Apple ID and password

do i need to register with a separate appleID and password for itunes store, icloud and app store apart from my admin login and password?Just use the same Apple ID and password that you used to access this forum - that's your Apple ID.
The user name and password on your computer has nothing to do with your Apple ID.

I have the same username and password for my Apple account and iCloud. My main email server is btinternet. When I try to share a photo by sending an email by iCloud I get a message "Server doesn't recognize username/password combination". Do I need to login to iCloud with my btinternet password?
Seeing others with same problem I have gone into iPhoto>Preferences>Accounts and changed password to btinternet password. It worked. Thanks.

My daughter forgot her password and we took it to Apple for a restore. When they did that it wiped it clean except the email address and password attached. They should be the same - assuming that you used the same ID to buy the apps that you are using to update the apps - you should be able to update them. You use the same Apple ID and iTunes account for iTunes media purchases and for app store Purchases. If for some reason the password isn't working try this.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID. Make sure that the ID is correct on the iPad. If the ID is correct but it is not being recognized - sign out of the account, restart the iPad and then sign in again
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Then go to Settings>Store>and sign into your account again and see if you can download now. -

On each device - go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap the old ID and sign out. Them sign in with new ID.
You have to perform this step on both devices in order to be signed in on each device. -

What do you expect of your iCloud storage option? If it is your aim to have your music available to play on your iOS devices, you will need iTunes match. Icloud storage does not allow you to stream your music.

ALE PEEKIf you put the folder into the Finder's toolbar, then the original folder would still be on the Desktop. The toolbar is not another location on the drive. So, I think you put this folder somewhere else like in the Dock, maybe. Then when you removed it you removed the real folder and everything in it.
Have you searched your hard drive for the photos? Perhaps they are still on the drive. Also, check your backups.
