I have apps that need to be updated, but the only way I can do it is with my computer

I am in Afghanistan, the free wifi spot is too slow or the files are too big to update on my iphone4s. I can connect to the internet and sync my phone without any issues. I can see all my apps with itunes, but there is no place or button that i have seen that says to update my apps. the only option it gives me is to remove the app, which I obviously don't want to do.
How do I get the app updates with my computer without dumping the apps?

On your computer, iTunes...left sidebar...if not visible, go to view, show sidebar...click the "Apps" tab under library, then updates, right-click the app/apps you want to update, then update. Or, update all if you like. Then, sync your phone.
