I have attempted to download latest version of iTunes without success
I was notified by iTunes that I should download the latest version for my PC about a week ago. I attempted to download and install but got an error that the installation did not complete without errors. I attempted the download and installation several more times with the same result. I rebooted my PC and now get an error every time labeled Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library which says "Program: C:/Program Files (x86)/iTunes/iTunes Helper.Exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more info." when the PC boots up. I also tried uninstalling iTunes, downloading and installing again with the same results.
I can see no way to get help from iTunes support since my iPod is several years old. I just want to get my PC back to normal and have a working version of iTunes on it. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Ralph. I can't say that the resolve was easy, but I finally managed to remove everything and re-install iTunes. I found that I could not accomplish the new installation using Firefox. I had to go back to Internet Explorer before the software would successfully download and install.

I cannnot get overdrive media to recognize itunes for down loading library books or media. I tried "I think everything" Overdirive say I must download latest version of itunes. I have aremoved replaced downloaded 15 times tried older version. HP could not solve they said call you. Well I searched done the manual thing my computer recognize Overdrive but not you Please help.

Hi lots going wrong with my music library, artwork is muddled up and also losing tracks because of this, also unable to download latest version of itunes and finally i cannot burn my music to disc. i have an external hard drive and a fairly large library, around 30,000 on it. Any suggestions!!
Log in to the Developer forum. You will find instructions on how to install the lastest beta. Your problem is the beta you have installed has expired. All of them did on October 5; you will find hundreds of threads discussing this. If you have a beta it is assumed that you will continue as a beta tester, so a simple update using iTunes will not work.
If you no longer want to be a beta tester install the GM 7.0.2 by restoring from iTunes using DFU mode. -
I have an ipad (IOS 7.1) and downloaded latest version of itunes (11.1.5.5) and downloaded itools (1.8.2.8) but my Itools does not work and message that your itools is not compatible with itunes so please want your comment for that.

Yes, but back up the library first. Note that if you're using Mac OS X 10.5.8, you won't be able to update iTunes past 10.6.3.

Since I downloaded latest version of iTunes on my Windows 7 PC, most pictures and documents have blue boxes covering a big portion of the thumbnail images. I hate it, how do I get rid of them?

I have updated to the latest version of iTunes (11.2.2.3). However, when I connect my iPod it shows in My Computer and iTunes opens automatically when the iPod is connected but the device doesn't show in iTunes. Any ideas? I am on Windows 8.1 and my iPod is a Classic
