I have authorised my computer but it still wont play some of my purches
I bought songs this morning and went to burn them to a cd and out of 15 only 6 songs would work. I tried to play the songs that wouldn't burn and it tells me the computer i am trying to play the song with is not authorised to play the song. it askes me for my apple id and my pass word. i put them in and and tells me that my computer is now one of the 5 availble authorised to play this purchas. so i try again to play it and it tells me again that my computer is not authorised to play the song. What do i do? I have deauthorised and reauthorised the computer a couple of times. Restarted the computer and logged in and out of ituens. nothing has worked so far.
Delete and redownload those songs if doing so is free in your country.

Why you can't redownload? Don't you have the Apple ID that used to download these apps?
You can "transfer purchaces" by right click on your iphone in iTunes but i guess you computer is not authorized and will ask you to authorize with Apple ID. Try it. -
My ipad 2 wont turn on, its just a blank screen. I have had it charging but it still wont turn on. It also isnt being recognised by itunes. I have updated itunes and everything. it doesnt even say its charging or connecting to itunes, its just a black screen. ive tried pressing down on the buttons but nothing happened.
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

I have authorised the computer as the pin point message said, but still unable to transfer the 3 apps which were free. Now unable to play them on Ipod touch.

I have downloaded a CD onto my computer and there are some songs that say my computer isnt authorized to play the songs. I have authorized my computer and deauthorized it then reauthorized it. It is still saying my computer is not authorized. Help please.

CindyIf that's the only song purchased using that particular iTunes account that is giving you that error message, that suggests that the song file is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

Have a AV cable but it still wont work with TV on
alright. so i have the long audio/video cable to headphone jack. and it plugs in fine. yes its longer and has 3 plugs. haha. and it still doesnt wrok. im trying to hook it up to a projector in my room but ill try a tv and see if it works. should it work with the cable tho?
Some camcorder cables e.g. Sony, Canon can be used but they are wired differently so you have to use different plugs.
Try Red to video in on your projector / TV
White for left audio
Yellow for right audio

Hello. So i Have tried to be using my Home Button, but everytime i seem to push it it wont go back to the home screen or quit an application. I havetried restarting ym Ipod and turning off and on but it doesnt seen to work. I think it might be the actal button that is sbroken or something. Does someone mind helping me out what wrong?? please?? Thank you!!!!!
Try this:
Calibrate Home Button
1. Open a stock application like Calendar, Weather or Youtube
2. Hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" control appears
3. As soon as you see it, press the Home button and keep it pressed until the red slider disappears and the app is forced quit to the Home menu -
I have downloaded quick time agan on my new laptop(windows 8), and i trying to watch movie trailers from the itunes site but it keeps asking me to down load quicktime when i already have done so. Anyone know what the problem is?
I think you might have to download iTunes? It use to come bundled as a package for Windows when you installed QT, and no longer does, 2 separate downloads now

It says i have itunes 7 installed, but it still wont work
Every time i try to buy a song on itunes, it says i have to download itunes 7 to continue using the store. when i click on the link to do so, it opens up a blank internet page. when i go to the apple website to download itunes 7, i go through the process and it thanks me for downlaoding itunes 7. when i go back to the itunes store to buy a song, it still tells me i need to download itunes 7. Because of this problem i cant buy any new songs, and i am getting really frustrated. any help would be apriciated!
macadooby, could you doublecheck your current itunes version number us?
in itunes, go "help > about itunes", and wait for the version number to scroll up from the bottom of the screen. for example, mine says "itunes 7.0.1.8".

Sign in to iCloud keeps popping up on my ipod screen and it wont let me do anything. I reset the pasword but it wont login.
Go to Settings>iCloud and at bottom screen is a Delete Account button. Tap it and the sing in with the updated account.

I don't know what "everything" is, unless you state them, so I have to ask if you did this procedure to reset the iPod shuffle.

If that does not help, is the iPod recognized by iTunes when it is connected to USB? If so, select the iPod in the iTunes sidebar (under DEVICES). Over to the right, go to the Settings screen. There should be a Restore button there. Restore will erase the iPod, install the latest software, and give it the default settings. After it completes, load some songs on it and try it again. Hopefully, it will play now.
If that does not help either, please post back.
