I have been experiencing a red light coming out the audio jack and no audio coming out of my Mid 2009 13.3" Macbook pro. I was wondering if Applecare would cover whatever this is?. I am covered until september 2012. Thanks

Though I have doubts for success, you might try a SMC reset. It can do no harm. Otherwise, barring suggestions from others, the Apple Store or qualified repair facility is the last option.

I have changed my apple id recently and the changes have been reflected on my iPad for both the apps store and the iCloud, however, my iphone still insist on using my old apple id for the iCloud while the app store is fine. how can i correct the problem?

On our ipad the speaker has quit working. Sound is only heard when you have head phones plugged in. We have reset the system three times cleaned out the headphone jack. Changed languages and rest but nothing works. This ipad is important to our daughter it is her tool to communicate with us and now it is not working please help

I tried all of the fixes above and quite a few others like resetting the pram and nvram and what finally worked for me was resetting my sound card from Terminal. Open Terminal and enter the command sudo kill -9 `ps ax|grep 'coreaudio[a-z]' | awk '{print $1}'`. It will ask for your password, enter in your password and press enter. The sound card will be reset and your audio and volume control should be restored..

It's a Sandisk 120GB Sata II SSD with read and write speeds of 280 and 270 MB/s respectively.
I don't know if anyone knows of anything better for price per GB thats Sata II or III with decent read and write speeds? I need it to be at least 100GB really.-

Hi! I have been experiencing trouble my mac computer, it spits out CD/DVD's and there is no camera connection
My mid-2007 iMac's internal optical drive went on the fritz a few weeks ago. Symptoms were a little different (it recognized every disk, CD or DVD, as blank whether they were blank or not). Reason and solution are the same: It's a hardware problem and your choices are to get the internal replaced or repaired, or get an external FireWire or USB drive.
If you're still covered by AppleCare, your internal drive will be repaired/replaced for you at no cost. Just bring it in to your nearest Apple Store after calling for a repair appointment.
If you're not still covered by AppleCare, an internal replacement is more expensive than it's worth. I got a very inexpensive USB CD/DVD reader - less than $20, since I don't need the ability to burn very often and when I do there are plenty of other Macs around here to do the burning. If you feel confident in your ability to muck about with the cramped insides of your Mini, a replacement internal can be had for under $100. -

i tried to open my adobe illustrator and this window popped up saying my trial had ended. i was not using a trial version, i have been paying monthly. so i went into my account online and my account still reads that my plan is active and will be until March 11, 2015. can you please tell me what the issue is and what i need to do to fix the problem.

Since upgrading iMac to osx lion I have been experiencing problems in mail, it spontaneously stops receiving and tells me it can't find the pop server and also the biggest problem is that when I send with an attachment the recipient doesn't receive it.
I have to restart mail most times before it starts recieving or recognizes the pop server.
As I said a lot of recipients do not recieve my mails when there is an attachment or when I reply to their email.Contact iTunes Customer Service and request assistance

I have been experiencing periodic loss of touch screen response with my iPhone 6 when in landscape mode. Flipping to portrait then back to landscape usually corrects it, but at times I need to close and reenter the app.
