I just purchased the SX60 and have been trying to find the way to change the "startup image". I have the SX40, Sx30 SX1 and all allow me to change the startup image and the sounds through MyCamera. When I opened MyCamera, it tells me that it won't work on my model. Does anyone know how to change the startup image? In the menu it gives me the choice to either have it on or off. Thanks so much!

Looks like Canon has changed what they ship with the newer cameras. My SX50 came with a disc & no paper manual. Because of that I searched the Canon site (USA site) & found the program set you need to download (according to what it says). Now there are different versions based on your operating system so for my search I've chosen Win 8.0 & the program file recommended is

Could you therefore let me have an e-mail address for being able to sort a problem I have with i-tunes purchasing for audo books as I by mistake downloaded a book instead of an audio book and would like a refund for The One I Love by Paul Pilkington so that I can download the audio book. This is the first time that I have used this facility and I obviously got confused with books and audio books, I need audio books because I have an I Pod Nano and I like to listen to my books on this. They allow people into Appleseed by invitation. There is very little you can do besides answer as many question on the forum as you are able to and Apple might notice you then.

You reset the iClould password the same way you reset the Apple ID for the email address/account

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Try the update again
Settings > General > Software Update

The first image I use is a JPG 72dpi 1500px x1500px and I want to downsize it to 600x600px same res, but it keeps pixelating, this has never happened before. Any suggestions, thoughts?

I wouldn't say pixelated; more like blurry.
Like ConnectedCreative said, what steps are you using? Are you using "bicubic sharper" when resizing down?

I have the latest version of Firefox (5.0) and the latest update for Adobe Flash plugin and Adobe Flash keeps crashing! Why???

There are several items I'd like to remove that are on the line at the top of my page that starts with "Most Visited," and I have been unable to find a way to remove them.

At the top of the page, between the address of the page I'm on and the tabs that are open is a line that starts with "Most Visited" and also includes Amazon, aBay, Yahoo, etc., all of which I want to keep. But there are also a number of other links that I don't want but can't find a way to delete. I've looked at suggestions til my eyes bugged out of my head, but nothing I've found allows me to get rid of them. Only one of them is something I saved, but it is no longer usable.

The mouse that came with my Mac does not have a right click feature. When I try to highlight and click, it just opens the link I don't want anymore. What I want to do is remove unwanted links from the top bar. For example, I no longer use GoodSearch or myEarthLink, but I can't delete them. There are also some links that never should have found their way up there, and I don't know how they ended up there, and I can't remove them either. I've read through a ton of questions and answers, and I can't find one that addresses the problem. With my Safari browser, all I have to do to remove an unwanted link is to click and drag it to the trash. It doesn't appear to work that way with Firefox, to my chagrin. I hope this better explains my question. Maybe that will give you a better insight into a solution.

HT4623 I just recently updated my iPhone 4 software from iOS 7.1 to iOS 7.1.1 and started from that time, my phone has only shown "No Service" and couldn't communicate anymore. I have been trying all the possible ways to sort it out but with no success.

Mine did the same thing 2 days in a row i get the phone and no service I put it in flight mode and back & still nothing I have power down then restart. BTW mine is factory unlocked

My search box in the upper right side of the screen changed from Google to Ebay without intentional action on my part and I have been unable to find a way to get rid of the ebay search tool and get google back.

When I first went to do a search using the search box on the right side of the toolbar I noticed it had a different icon. It was so so small I did not recognize it as Ebay until I hit search and it was then I realized my search tool had somehow been changed. The only use my wife had made of the computer since the prior evening was to view an email from the president of a local charity sending an updated roster of officers. I did look at the user profile file and saw that it showed the profile changed as of 7:46 am which was when my wife looked at the email. I tried deleting the file but firefox would not run without it so I restored the file. Our internet security program is Avast.

Anyone find a way to use an airport disk for Time Machine?

Apple says it is not possible ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306833 ). Yet I have seen some posts of people who claim they are doing it. How?

Here's the workaround that has been posted ...
(NOTE: Caution!!! There is a reason Apple did not include Air Disk support for Time Machine in the current release of Leopard. I would strongly discourage implementing any workarounds, especially if the data you are backing up is critical to you. However, if you're just curious to see if it is possible, then proceed with caution.)
Here's a workaround for the Airport disk problem that may or may not work for you:
1) disconnect airport disk and plug into computer as a USB drive directly.
2) Set up time machine to use this volume.
3) In terminal cd to volume "cd /Volume/HDD"
4) In terminal "touch .com.apple.timemachine.supported" this will create an invisible file.
5) In terminal "sudo chown root:admin .com.apple.timemachine.supported"
6) In terminal "sudo chmod 1775 .com.apple.timemachine.supported"
7) In terminal "ls -l -a" the .com.apple.timemachine.supported file should be -rwxrwxr-t
8) eject disk, unplug from mac, plug into Airport.
9) mount at mac using connect to server in finder (command k) and afp://airportname.local./HDname
10) see if time machine now sees the drive and tries to use it.
