I have been unable to get the microphone working in any applications on my ipad.
I have the ipad model MD368X/A version 6.1.3
I have not been able to get the microphone to work in any application inc Sari.
Any ideas as the the location of the mic settings if any or am i looking at a hardware issue?
Looked for software updates for this model however indications that all is current.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

This is because the iPhone 5C does not have a motion coprocessor: a chip that calculates and records your motion like steps and distance. Your iPhone 6 has one (it's called A8). Hello. Since accepting the upgrade to the current version of I Tunes (11.4) I have been unable to get the application to boot. I receive the message that I Tunes was not installed correctly and Error 7 (Windows Error 193). I have uninstalled/reinstalled I Tunes several times and this has not resolved the issue. I also uninstalled/reinstalled Microsoft.net Framework 4 since this was suggested by Apple support. This also has not resolved the issue.
When I reinstall I Tunes, I get a message that the “Service ‘apple mobile device’ failed to start.” Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services. The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Mobile Device Support, won't install normally.
In your case I suggest you start with a clean download of the setup file using the direct link. If reinstalling AMDS alone doesn't work try tearing everything down again.

For weeks I have been viewing a doggy day care center via their web cam. This weekend I upgraded to Lion and have been unable to view the center. I get an error message for Java plug-in 1.6.0_29 ....webcam class not found. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Sorry, don't know what else to suggest unless there's a URL to the problem stream that someone here can try. Otherwise we can't test it to try and determine what might be wrong.
BTW, make sure they're testing it with a Mac, not with a Windows system. If they test only with Windows, what they say is or is not working doesn't mean much.

For the last 10 days I have been unable to open the Mail account on my eMac (MacOS10.4.11). When I click on the icon in the Dock the only option I get is "Force quit" and the main Mail bar will not open any choice. Any ideas?
You can setup Mail for iCloud on the eMac.

You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.

Usually iTunes will tell you in that case, that iOS 4.2.1 the newest version for your phone.

Hi, since I installed the latest update on my Mac I have been unable to open the contents of some emails because it is saying that pages does not recognise the font. For example it is saying 'some features aren't supported, the font Calibri isn't available on OS X. It was replaced with TrebuchetMS' This means that I cannot open letters from my daughters school. Is there any way round this other than getting rid of this nightmare MAC and going back to Windows!?

You don't say which operating system you are using so I'll assume Windows 7 for now - try this.
1) select the file that you want to open
2) right click on it and go to the Open With option but select Choose default program at the bottom of the list - the following should open
3) At the bottom of the list, there is Other Programs, you may need to scroll down. If PSE not in the list, continue with the following.
4) Use the Browse button to browse to the following (omit x86 if on 32bit system)
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
I'm assuming that you want to open the image in the editor.
5) Uncheck the Always use... option, otherwise double clicking on the file would cause the editor to open by default.
6) Click on OK
PSE should now appear on your open with list.

Since updating to ios7.0.2 on my i-phone5 I have been unable to open the i-tunes store app, basically it just opens for a second or two then shuts itself down, I've tried a soft reset, turning on and off, closing down all running apps but nothing seems to work, anyone else had the same problem and no how to fix it?

It sounds like iTunes launches for a split second, then quits unexpectedly.
I would recommend a few things for this issue. First, close all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone:
