I have boxed version of iWork8 but have lost serial number and cannot activate on new computer. How can I reactivate program?
I have the disks but not the serial number. Have new mac pro laptop, but cannot access old pages and numbers files.
Doesn't the box show the serial number? Do you have your old computer with iWork on it? Then you should be able to see in the about Pages window which serial number you have.
If you have a new computer I presume you have Mountain Lion on it. You can buy Pages 09 and Numbers from the Mac AppStore and then open the documents.

You can't install 9.2.1 or earlier on any Mac that is only Mac OS X bootable. In fact you need to use the restore disks which came with those Macs to install 9.2.2 on those Macs. 8.6 is only possible to install on Macs which came with 8.6 or earlier. The 9.1 disk may be useful for your 1999 PowerMac G4, but won't be of any use for a 2006 Powerbook G4.

It does not magically appear in a new place. It will only be where you put it.
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. -

I have purchased Acrobat from the Cloud and downloaded and installed it. I received an order number but no serial number and cannot get it to finish installing Where do I get the serial number!?!
Like most online purchases you would normally receive the order number before the order is processed so you should be patient and allow some time for the processing to happen. If you feel you have waited long enough then you should contact Adobe Support directly and try to get information on your order since you now have a reference for it that you can share with them.

You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so if you only had one installation, you still have the option to install on a second without doing anything further than that. If you originally downloaded the purchase thru Adobe then you might find a download link available in your Adobe account online. As the subject header states, I purchased new mac, but lost my serial number and no longer have access to registered email. I had purchased the Creative Suite Web and Design C6 version. Support said they can only forward my lost serial number to the registered email. Since she was without effective tools, she recommended I post something on the forums for support. Anyone have the ability to get me back to using my suite?

PhilipOnly the person(s) you spoke to have the ability to provide you with the serial number. People here can merely suggest where to look for it. If you registered your software when you installed it originally then you should be able to find your serial number stored in your Adobe account online in the Products section.
You might want to try updating your information in your account if the email is the only thing holding back from getting the info sent to you. -

We have a Canon SX40Hs and cannot activate the digital zoom function. I have tried changing the mode from Auto to "P" to "Tv" etc and the dig zoom function is greyed out and not accessible. Any help?
ThanksActually, this is a friend's camera, but yes, I went to the menu and when I got to the digital zoom option, it is greyed out (not accessible). That is the problem. I shoot in the EOS line so figured maybe there was a custom function somewhere that was causing the problem, but Power shot line apparentley doesn't have custom functions. Thought maybe digital zoom is only availabel in certain modes (pernaps not available in "green square"), but changing mode didn't seem to make it accessible either. I am just not familiar with the powershot cameras so ... any other suggestions?

I have designed and implemented an 8-channel data acquisiton system using Labview 6.1. Now, I have downloaded the version 7 express and when I open my old VI some of the sub VIs are missing . So, I would really appreciate it if someone could advice about where I can get 6.1
ThanksI seriously doubt that your missing VIs would magically appear by installing 6.1. 7.0 should have everything.
What are the names of the VIs? Could it be you need the traditional DAQ drivers, but have now installed DAQMX?

Results showing the same output for any query execution
Guru's Whenever user selects query in RSRT --> and click on java view it is prompting for user ID and password. After giving the login credentials, the out put remains the same for any query query as input. Please let me know how can we fix this? TH
