I have call fail problem with my iphone 4 , i can't make calls
I'm facing the problem of call fail and i can't make calls from my i phone , but i can recive calls & data also , only the problem is for the outgoing calls.

Not really... that ancient EDGE only phone will stop working as AT&T sunsets their EDGE network over the next few years.
Some phones are simply better at picking up weak signals than others.

Just recently, I have encountered a problem with my iPhone. When someone calls, I can clearly hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear me speak. Sometimes the problem is nt there and works properly, but most of the times, I am facing this problem. i have the same problem in my iphone. i can receive call and talk and listen too otherwise no sound at all like ringer tone , on-off click soung , video-music song , game sound.
i have tried to clean the audio jack too but result is the same. Can any body help me please.No external sound or not sound at all - external or when using the earbuds?
Standard troubleshooting steps in order are; power the iPhone off and on, Reset by pressing and holding the Home key and Sleep/Wake or On/Off key simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so, Restore.
i had it once before, restored the iPhone and it was solved, but i don't want to restore my iPhone every day.

If you have sound when using the earbuds, another thing to try is insert the earbuds and start playing a song - making sure the sound can be heard with the earbuds. Without pausing the song, remove the earbuds.
If no sound is available with the speaker and a the troubleshooting steps do not resolve it or one of the steps does resolve it but the same occurs again, time to give AppleCare a call (800) 694-7466 or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. -

Hi - I cannot upload my emails through the mail icon. The first time I tried it only loaded very old emails, I then tried the whole process again and it has not imported a single email. I use hotmail, and have had no problems with my iPhone or iPad. So the only way I can check my emails on my mac is to go through the internet. Can anyone help?

This support document http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4451 relates to the 3194 error. Generally this error has to do with trying to install an iOS that is not the most current. Maybe you tried to jailbreak the phone, or downgrade iOS? Any of this apply to you?

No you cannot. The iPhone warranty is only good in the country of purchase. You would need to bring it back to the US, or send it to someone that could take it to an Apple store in the US. Apple will not accept international shipments.

Call dropping problem with my iphone 4s
Recently from past two weeks I have a problem with my iphone 4S of calls dropping automatically. I tried reseting all the settings etc but no improvements till date. I am facing huge problems since my calls are all business calls & very important ones.

- you cannot restore it from iTunes? as from your explanation, it looks that its iOS problem. or
- try to let the battery drain (< 5% or until it shuts down) and connect it to iTunes and try restoring. or
- keep it plugged in the charger for 3,4,5 hrs and do hard reset again ( lock+home bottoms) -

I've got a problem with my IPhone 4 since I've updated to IOS 6.0.1. After the call I'd like to end the call but the picture on the screen becomes magnified
so that you cannot see anything and the screen is not reacting. I need to restart the phone. But 7 or 8 times daily to restart the phone is not really convenient.
Has got anybody the same problem? How can I go back to IOS 5 ? Before the update I was a happy user of IPhone.

Hi, I have a frustrating problem that seems to have occurred post iOS 8 installation. When my iphone5 is switched off the ring tone fails to sound i only get the vibration. If i am using my phone and a have an incoming call then the ring tone works as normal. I think it has something to do with "do not disturb" ... i see from the menu in "do not disturb" that under the heading "silence" there are two options "always" and "only when the phone is locked" This does not seem to make sense as i have to choose one or the other!
If anybody can help advise me on this problem i would be very grateful.

So what that means is when you have Do Not Disturb turned on, you may have an alert depending on the setting and how you are using your iPhone. So if it is set to Always, then that means that no matter what, your iPhone will not be notified. If it set to Only while the iPhone is locked, then that means that you will not get notification when your iPhone is locked but you will get notifications if your iPhone is being used. Also keep in mind the settings All Calls From can be set to certain contacts like Favorites, Everyone or no one. If you are using Do Not Disturb and you do not need it, then turn it off.

I have a little problem, my iphone 4 is water damaged and i know i need to get the dock unit and speaker changed as they dont seem to work cos theres no sound but it does activate the phone when plugged into a power source. I have changed for a new battery and the phone works fine but when the battery is connected and the phone is either on or off it gets extremely hot by the battery connector. As soon as i unplug the battery and turn the phone on by plugging into a power source the heat dissapears. I have 2 iphone 4 batterys and cant imagin they are the problem but could well be, was just wondering if anybody has had a similar problem. And yes iv done all the resetting and closing programs and things.
Could it be the motherboard? Although iv had that out and its clean as a whistle
Many thanks for any helpThe iPhone is not user servicable. You are walking around with a fire hazard in your pocket. Find a competent repair shop or purchase a new phone. Since you've opened it, it is no longer eligible for the $149 out of warranty replacement you could have gotten from Apple.

I once had a phone call in the middle of a trip. I was listening to my music and phone rang. It was work calling. I answered the phone and the music continued to play. I had to tell the person to hold, then i had to use multitask to find the app and manually turn it off. Once that was done, i retrurned to the phone call to find out that when i receive an email it too plays through the speaker while i am on the phone. Why wouldn't it mute these things while i am making a phone call? Is there a setting for this? It seems to me that this only happened since IOS 5, but i can't be 100%. What i am 100% on is the fact that it happened on my Iphone 4 and is now happening on my Iphone 4s.
The music continued to play with the iPod?
If so, when a call is received while listening to music with the iPod, when the call is answered the music should be paused. When ending the call, the music starts playing again from where is was paused.
There is no automatic mute with notifications for received email or messages while on a call and there is no setting for this.
