I have contatcs on my SIM card that I cannot see on the iPhone4
I used the Settings --> "Mail, Calendars, Contacts" and then tap "Import SIM Contacts" function, but the numbers have not come across. Contacts are defiitely on the SIM - have checked by putting SIM into a "old" phone and I can still see the SIM contacts.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Tks Michael
You've checked the purchase history on your account (Store > View My Account, Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11, menu option on your computer's iTunes), and have you made any in-app purchases (e.g. to unlock extra features) or have any auto-renewing subscriptions ? If not then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

The iPhone 4 uses a "Nano SIM"
The CDMA iPhone 4 does not use a SIM at all. There is no SIM slot. It is a pure CDMA phone. -
I have an Apple Air Book and I am very satisfied with it except there are video that I cannot see. The reason is that Quick Time will not support the video. What can I do to be able to get these videos? I have all ready download Adobe Flash Player and installed it but it has not effect.
Get Flip4Mac (for Windows Media videos):
http://dynamic.telestream.net/downloads/download-flip4macwmv.asp?prodid=flip4mac wmv
And Perian for everything else:

You should be able to play most videos with QuickTime player once both are installed. -

Hpls help me ,my iphone does not work after i updated and restore it..it says that u have to change ur Sim Card..cuz the carrier that u use its not known
But it has worked perfectly before the update!Your iPhone was almost certainly jailbroken to unlock it from the original carrier. Restoring the iPhone has now removed that jailbreak and the iPhone has relocked back to the original carrier. Only that carrier can authorize an official, permanent unlock, so you will need to contact that original carrier and ask if you would qualify for unlocking.

if you dont have the sim card that came with the iphone and you resync it how do you get it to turn back on .?
You have been syncing the iPhone with iTunes on your computer without a SIM card inserted in the iPhone for how long?
If the iPhone says connect to computer, this means there is a problem with your iPhone that requires restoring the iPhone with iTunes. As already provided, not having a SIM card inserted in an iPhone does not prevent or shouldn't prevent syncing the iPhone with iTunes. Depending on the iPhone model, it is required in order to restore the iPhone with iTunes.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3406
To re-activate an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS that displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen:
Insert a SIM card from the carrier with which you used your phone. Note: If you are using the same carrier, you can use the activated SIM card from your new device to do this. If your device is unlocked by your carrier, you can use any SIM card.
Connect the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS to iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet.
iTunes will then activate the device. You can remove the SIM card at this point and use the iPhone as if it were an iPod touch. -
The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.Or if you've recently got the phone unlocked then you'll need to connect it to itunes and then do a fresh restore to unlock it ,although for most users simply connecting to itunes for few seconds did the trick.

what can in do?Well unfortunatly that advice does not always work. I bought a unlocked iphone4 from apple several years ago and went to att on a no contract basis. Six months later the phone crashed while updating the operating system. Apple replaced the phone with a new one. All is fine till I got a iphone5 and gave te phone to my cousin. The phone is now locked to att but att says the IMEI number is not a valid ATT IMEI and therfore cant unlock it. Apple says there is nothing They can or are willing to do so now I am stuck for a 600.00 phone that can't be used.
If anyoun knows a way naround this situation mI would appreciate a heads up. -
Can you setup your iphone 5s using a SIM card that doesn't yet have an active number?
Can you setup an iPhone 5s using a SIM card that doesn't yet have an active number due to awaiting the PAC code to work?
The carrier who locked the iPhone are the only source of an unlock

It looks like the iPhone is locked to a carrier that is not the one you are trying to use.
You need to determine which carrier it is locked to and then contact them to see if they are willing to authorise the unlocking of your iPhone. As ManSinha mentioned, many carriers will only authorised the unlock if requested by the customer who had the contract with them for this iPhone.
Remember that only the carrier who owns the lock on your Iphone can authorise Apple to unlock the iPhone in their servers. You need to contact the carrier or have the previous owner of the iPhone request the unlocking. -

Once new apple ID was set up, then I removed the verizon SIM and then inserted prepaid t-mobile sim card and after the phone booted up then I got the same message like above...."not supported"
What do i do now? I think the phone is unlocked right?

I am confused and other threads were talking that if you get congrats message then u shd be good to use other SIM cards....please help!!! -

No matter what i do, my iphone will not recognize any sim card that is put into the phone, and i have tried 3 different networks
Most likely the phone is locked to a carrier that you haven't tried yet.
