Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed.

If you go to your applications folder (Go>Applications) do you have Adobe Reader in there? If you open Adobe Reader and choose File>Open are you able to open a pdf file?

HT202213 I have done all this but i am not seeing my Itune library on my Apple TV

I have itunes in Germany and can see various Movie and TV channels on the Itunes that i am using on my PC.
I purchased some documentary from that itunes and they also show in the Itunes in the PC.
I also put homesharing and it shows correctly on the vertical bar on the left side of itunes.
However, I cannot access my itune library from my Apple-tv, despite of many many attempts. Oddly enough, the music shows in the music folder but not the pictures nor the movies that i bought in itunes.
I also cannot see the TV channels that i have on the german Itunes in the apple Tv. There is no icon for tv channels , even though they are in itunes under the same id and password.
I have looked everywhere but there is no guidance on this issue whatsoever.
Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

If Firewall is on in Mac OS X (in the Sharing pane of System Preferences), make sure iTunes Music Sharing is selected. This worked for me. I do not have a debit card, credit card OR a Paypal. My iPod has been disabled for about 23 million minutes so, following other instructions I found on here I signed into my account and was told to review all of my accoutn information. It will not let me bypass these to restore the iPod. Is there any way I can go through these steps and restore the iPod without filling in this information?

I go to settings-store-log in-use an exiting account, then: I type my country, agree the rules, fill the creditcard information (correct). Then it stands on the screen with red letters: Tap continue to sign in, then update your billing info. What that meanes? I click next over and over again, I don't see any continue button!
