Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

I bought cs6 student and teacher edition, but it says in the instruction if i wanted to install it in mac, i should click the install.app.

but the dvd only got set-up.exe (only for windows)??? how can i install it to mac?

Bakz did you just purchase CS6? If so you may want to work with your reseller to obtain a Mac version of the license.

Where's The CS6 Complimentary Upgrade for The Student and Teacher Editions?

I bought the student and teacher edition of CS5.5 Design Premium a couple of weeks ago and got the email telling me how to get my complimentary upgrade to cs6 a few days ago. When I went on to adobe.com to look up the pricing for the student and teacher editions of the cs6 programs, there is no upgrade option (the only price shown says "Full from 449.00"). When I looked up pricing for the non-student and teacher editions, the upgrade option is there.
Are the upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions not available yet? Is there anybody else who bought the Student and Teacher Editions having this issue, or is it just me?

I talked with someone from Adobe earlier and they told me that I cant upgrade to another student and teacher edition but I can upgrade to a retail version still at no cost. They also sent me a link to a page telling me more about how to claim the upgrade, and the page mentions a "coupon code" that I have to enter during checkout.

The email didnt include a coupon code, and I followed the steps but the price remains at the regular upgrade price. I read on the "how to claim" page the associate showed me that I would be getting a code no later than May 31st. Do you think this email was maybe informing me that I am eligible for an upgrade and that they would send me a coupon code at a later date?

You can do licensed install on two systems same platform(Win or Mac). This depends for which platform you bought the SN for.

Today I bought Photoshop CS5 Extended Student and Teacher Edition, but I can't seem to be able to download it onto my Mac. I've downloaded Akamai but it hasn't shown up on my browser (chrome, firefox). The instructions say that the .dmg file is supposed to show up, but I haven't seen it. Please help me!!

3D and Repousse capabilities in cs5 extended student and teacher edition?

Hi, I have cs5 extended student and teacher edition - Windows - there is a top level 3D menu available to me. But when I follow instructions to create 3D text, the 3D options are unavailable to me. Just wondering if anyone out there might be able to help? Thanks.

I'm trying to learn how to use the Repousse tool / feature (to do extruded text etc0 and have found one of many tutorials that give step by step instructions. So for example, the initial instructions are as follows:-
Step 1 - Open Photoshop extended and using horizontal type tool, type 3D using Impact font.
Step 2. Go to 3D > Repousse > Text Layer
I get as far as creating text and when I click on the 3D menu, the Repousse option is disabled, as are all the options except the 'auto- hide layers for performance'.
So not quite sure where to go from here. I've checked and 'OpenGL' is enabled.

The license allows YOU to install on a 2nd computer... it does not allow someone else to use your license

I do not know how it is done, but you MAY be able to buy her a regular subscription and pay with your credit card... just not the Education version that has strict requirements

What can I do to change it to the Adobe Creative Cloud for ETLA that I need for my college courses.

I do not understand your issue, ETLA is just a educational form of CC, you have redeemed CC using redemption code on Jan 20, 2015, it valid for an year.
Are you talking about how to use it offline as desktop app, then you can use the CC without internet for up-to 90 days, you need to log in once in 90 days to keep the CC active.

Submitting academic proof for Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition

I was contacted to validate my academic status for a Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition I purchased via adobe.com on May 14, 2014. The Education FAQ page (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing /education-faq.html) states:
"Submit your proof of eligibility when you place your order. If you have a pending order, go to My Orders in your Adobe account, and click Submit Proof."
However, when I go to My Orders page, there is no link saying "Submit Proof". I do have my proof readily available, but I am not sure how else I can submit it.
I was told my subscription would be canceled in if I could not prove my academic status within 14 days (it was sent on July 2nd), and am still awaiting a response from Adobe Customer Support. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help with Download error in Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition

I have been paying for the Creative Cloud Student and teacher editions of the Adobe suite. I have two laptops. The cloud application installed fine in both, but I could not download the apps into my preferred machine, receiving a "Download Error" for my pains. The other laptop, with its small memory size, was not suitable for the programs and has recently crashed and passed on! So now I'm still left with half of my year's commitment to go and have still not been able to benefit from the programs. i have tried every which way to get them on my main computer, taking advice from the net but to no avail. I have purchased the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition and I now need to install illustrator on Windows Vista. All the new versions are not available for Vista. I have managed to find older versions for download but it is asking me for a product key. Is it possible to get the product keys for older version with Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition?

You cannot purchase older versions of Adobe software thru Adobe. If you have a full subscription you can acquire the CS6 version thru that. I have had CS6 running on a Vista system for years without problems.

I am enrolled in the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition. However; Lightroom 5.4 on my mac says I can only use Lightroom mobile for a 30 day trial period. It seems to me my Creative Cloud membership doesn't entitle me to the use of Lightroom Mobile. Is this indeed the case?
