I looked all over for the link/place on the adobe site where I can pay to upgrade. Any ideas?

I have loaded photoshop version 5 onto my computer in order to view a psd file, but the file is from a more up to date version and contains incompatible material. Can I update the version 5 copy I have to a more current version so the file would work?

I entered in all my info and then accidently clicked out of the screen before I wrote down the code to redeem it. I tried to do it again but of course it said my system had already been issued a redeem code. Is there a way I can get it back so I can get the update for free?

If you use the organizer, you need to buy the boxed version of PSE 12. You can usually find it at big box stores and online retailers for less than adobe's upgrade price, if you shop around. You need the boxed version because you get a serial number that works on both platforms, and you will need to install PSE 12 in windows first, upgrade your catalog, then make a full backup to a removable drive and restore from that to the mac, after installing PSE 12 there.
If you don't use organizer, it doesn't matter. -

A standard installation of SL will only replace the system files, leaving all your data and preferences intact.
But! Things have been known to go wrong, so I strongly advise backing up your current system to an external HD with the Restore function in Disk Utility before starting the installation. -

Problem now resolved as I upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6. Seems App Store doesn't like anything previous to 10.6.

yes you can, just download a dj app from the app store onto your ipad and it will automatically include all your music within the app for your mixing pleasure
