The only way to get Lightroom in the Cloud is by becoming a full Cloud member (there's no Single App plan for it). So, from June 17, you'll have Photoshop CC and LR5 working togather.
LR5 has already been released but Photoshop in the Cloud is still CS6 until June 17.

Not sure of the intent of this question but all apps (Photoshop etc) install and run locally so their performance depends on your hardware and operating system - not Adobe server capacity nor your internet connection.
Only the licensing and downloading of updates is via the Cloud.

No. CS5.5 and the Cloud version (currently CS6 but CC from June 17) will peacefully co-exist.
Note: you do not run Cloud apps from the Cloud. You download them from the Cloud and install and run them locally like you always have.

Same size. 1GB+. But it's downloaded via the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) so you can pause the download without having to start over again.

Always the Extended version in the Cloud. 3D definitely available, provided you've got the hardware to run it.

From Photoshop CC onwards, the Standard version is discontinued. So is perpetual licensing.
The only version of Photoshop CC available will be in the Cloud and it will always be the Extended version. I suspect the "Extended" part may disappear from the name since it's no longer required to differentiate it from the Standard version..

Trial version of CS5.5 Master Collection
I am trying to get a trial version of Adobe Encore CS5.5 and I am aware it can be downloaded as part of the CS5.5 Master Collection, however is it possible when I download this to be used on a trial basis, considering it cannot be used on a trial basis individually?
I do not want to download it if it is not possible.1 - there is not, and has not ever been, a trial version of Encore due to 3rd party licensing... Encore ONLY works with a paid Premiere Pro or suite

Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection not installing and @AdobeCare don't help!
This is WHY Adobe is the biggest RIP OFF ever.
I bought a copy of CS5.5 Master Collection at an auction (Bought for just over 2k) everything sealed and fine, got it home installed it on my iMac and everything was gravy.
Used for around year and half, then I moved from Alberta to Ontario, so everything was packed and then unpacked and reset up, as I did a clean of my Mac when I got here and went to install all my software and applications again, and sure enough BAM!!! That's when it happened.
It would not install.
Now I have contacted Adobe "Don't" Care about a previous issue I had with another piece of software that they messed me around on that software was only $200 and after becoming very pissed of at them for giving me the run around having to go on live chat 4 times and then resulting to twitting the sh*t out them stating how crappy they were I all of a sudden had someone contact me and finally contact me assisted on getting that software working again.
However this more expensive piece of software they haven't give two craps about.
I would love any so called "smart" Adobe worker fill me in on this.
If something works perfect for a year and half or 3 months because you guys are "so" on top of things right is shouldn't matter about the time frame, when you get either a system crash, reinstall, new computer or sell the system and when loading the software back on the somputer and it's not working...ready simple question WHY NOT!
Clearly people have stated that bootleg copies of the serials are out on the internet for anyone to get right, but when a person has spent a F load of cash on a NON Stolen or Copied version with proof of purchase with pictures of receipt and evidence that they have been using the same F'ing serial this whole time, how can you not HELP!

So when do I get compensation for being messed around by Adobe? because the run around I have had by Adobe staff, for a product that is legit and been in use for a year and half and then flat out not working..will Adobe care? In a market where there is so many more choices I will always refer people to those, like Sony Vegas Pro, Coral ect.ranting is all people are left to do Ned, because getting help from Adobe clearly takes so much effort. Are you an Adobe worker? So I will explain it in simple terms for you.
1) That disc is what was bought
2) When I went to reinstall the product when I moved and after doing a clean up of my Mac it asks for the serial
3) I entered the serial
4) The serial worked fine (You know the green tick)
5) After the hour or so wait to finalize I waited and opened Photoshop
6) That was the message you see that I got
7) I the tested another app and I got the same thing.
After this I contacted Adobe and was on a chat case number 0214839318 which may I ad HAS ALL OF THIS IN DETAIL.
this of course was NOT the end, I was asked to show proof which is what you can see!
Oh and Ned guess what....NO HELP!

Help!!!Urgent!!! Please!!! Installing CS5.5 master collection programs
I downloaded CS5.5 master collection but didn't install all the programs. What happened to the ones I didn't install? Where can I find them? Can I install them later? Do I have to download the whole collection again? Where is the installer for the rest of the programs? I cannot find the installer. I found a folder "a folder CS5.5 master collection" at the location I provided while downloading, but the folder was empty. Nothing was there. No .app file was found. When I was downloading the programs, I saw an icon on my desktop, but it disappeared when once the download was completed. The icon looked like a disc. I'm using OS X 10.6 system.
yes, I saw that one. However, it shows up as an uninstaller. It seems I can only uninstall things that I have in my system instead of installing programs I don't have.

Help - Cant download CS5.5 Master collection

So I decided to try eto use the newest CS5.5 Master collection package, and decided to try the trial version. however when i attemp to download it (through the download manager ofcause)
It just informs me that there is not enough space on the drive, and it abborts it. I have over 500gb free on the drive, and 200gb free on the system drive.
And the problem only happpends with adobe's download manager, no other programs i tried to install has had this problem.
I been searching for a direct download link, as i have a feeling that it is the download manager that is causing the problem. However as far as i can see, it is not possible to download the trial version from a direct link?
Whenever i search for it, it just leads me to dodgy websites that dosent look like they have anything to do with adobe, and proberly would be loaded with tons of vira and malware if i downloaded it.
Hoping for a quick answer.

Cannot Install Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection in Win7 x64

I've purchased many adobe products in the past, and i have been generally pleased with them.
However, I downloaded a trial of the CS5.5 Master Collection, and it won't install.
I've followed all of the solutions in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/628980?start=100&tstart=0 , but to no avail.
I've diagnosed the root of the problem, and it's C:\Users\Yunyu\Desktop\MasterCollection_CS5_5_LS1\Adobe CS5_5\payloads\Microsoft_VC90_MFCLOC_x86\Microsoft_VC90_MFCLOC_x86.msi won't install.
I get when i try to install, and the registry key trick does not work for me, as there is no registry key.
Win7 Ultimate x64
No antivirus
What should i do? I've contacted adobe but they don't answer.
I really want to try and buy this product.Tried downloading and installing. Still failed.
No programs at startup. no antivirus, no firewall, this is a fresh install with all updates.
The individual CS5 (not 5.5) programs I purchased earlier installed perfectly (photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, flash, fireworks), however, the newer ones fail.
I've tried reinstalling .NET, Windows Installer, sfc /scannow, registry fixes, disable services and startup items, etc... to no avail.
The Adobe LOG analyzer doesn't even say I have a problem!

If anyone is able to solve this they are a genius (or I am doing something very stupid!)
I am trying to reinstall CS5.5 Master Collection from DVD media on Windows 7 64 bit PC but setup.exe fails due to a msxml3.dll error.
Following a big bundle of recent Windows 7 updates, I started getting 'bad image' msxml3.dll error messages when opening any CS5.5 master collection program (Eg Premiere / Photoshop / Illustrator / Dreamweaver). Following advice on some threads here I tried uninstalling and then using the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool to clean up install, then reinstalling from my original DVD media.
Whenever I try using run setup.exe from installtion disc 1 the installing fails due to 'Missing files'. I have also tried dowloading trial versions and runing setup.exe fro mthe downloaded files but i still get the same message.
I have searched the forum and others have experienced this error but none of the solutions I have found seem to be working for me - as many seem to relate to download installations whereas I am installing from original DVD media (which worked fine before on the same PC)

The PDApp troubleshooting seems to indicate that this is caused by error in downloads but I am getting it with both original media DVD and downloads.
I have also tried using my logon (which has admin privileges) and under our main admin account - and I get the same errors.
Is a clean install of Windows 7 + CS5.5 my only option?
Any help / info / advice / solutions very much appreciated! I have spent the last 2 days trying to sort this out and seem to be getting nowhere.

CS6.0 & CS5.5 Master Collection InDesign Font Control bar & Characters Panel not Functioning
Hi, I am a college student and our college a year ago sent me CS5.5 Master Collection InDesign at that time the font control bar was not functioning correctly on my PC. Our class was about Adobe Illustrator so our instructor rather than deal with it had us just cut and paste things into MS Word.
Now a year and half later I am taking a college course in Adobe Photoshop . . CS6.0 Master Collection InDesign once again the collection is the Student and Teacher Licensing for Windows. The same thing is happening now we are REQUIRED to this semester to create a Calendar using our own photos and create a INDESIGN layout using our photos we took for our course. In this version of CS6.0 InDesign I figured they would of fixed it by now, but the "Control Panel is still not working, nor is the Character Panel that you pull up to the side of InDesign. I am able to use the pull down menus and do things from there, but the point of taking this course was to learn the software, how can we students use the software if it is not functioning properly.
NOTE I AM EXPERIENCEING THE SAME THING WITH ALL SIDE PANELS NOW TOO.
Oh yes it changes the font name when you use the pull down window from the top menu, but it is not allowing us to use the CONTROL BAR just under the MENU BAR, nor the side panel I pulled up and am showing there. In ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR I can use the character panel just fine, but not in InDesign.
In Illustrator when I go to launch it I get this error, I have done as it asked but it still is bring this up at launch. I can go in and use Illustrator just fine, except for this error.
Someone thought I may of installed it incorrectly, so I removed all ADOBE software from my computer ran maintenance and virus scans and reinstalled the software, a whole day wasted, but it still is doing the same thing.
a) Thinking that this is a limitation placed on the software by Adobe because it is a Student Teacher Edition?
b) There's a problem with having OpenType and TrueType fonts on hand?
c) Adobe has a software problem that they have yet to resolve?
d) There is something somewhere within the software I need to flip a switch on?
Our instructor I gather who owns his own business his works just fine on his PC, but then because it is his business software it makes me think it has to do with the Student Teacher Edition.
I have more than enough RAM and hard drive space the Processor is a AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon(tm) HD. Graphics is 2.40 GHz. It is a 64-bit Operating System. Oh I am using a Windows OS 7.0 Professional .
This is the only piece of software that I have come accross that will not function correctly on my computer system since it's purchase Jan of 2012.There is no difference between the commercial and educattional versions of the products other than the license terms. The software itself is the same.
Since you are on windows 7, the first question is are you using large fonts in the Windows interface? Large fonts combined with an Aero theme are deadly to ID. See InDesign tools and panels don't respond to mouse clicks (Windows 7/Vista)
If this doesn't apply, the next thing to try is replacing your preferences. See Replace Your Preferences
Do you use a font manager? If so, which one?
Does the account you are using have adminsitrator privileges? Shouldn't matter, but it would be worth trying a new account that does.
It's still possible that the installation failed in some way. That Illustrator error certainly makes it look like a strong possibility, and there may have been some left-over crud from the first failed install that was not replaced the second time. If the things above don't clear up the problems, I would suggest Deactivating the suite from an applicatin that will open, and uninstalling again, then run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3) which will remove all traces of the previous installations. Reboot, then before reinstalling run MSConfig and turn off all non-essential startup programs and services, especially any virus or maware scanners, third-party firewall, instant messengers, iTunes and all browser helpers and toolbars, then close MSconfig and reboot. Log in as an Administrator (the actual Adminsitrator account would be best, but it may not be turned on). When the warning comes up about diagnostic mode continue to boot (cancel MSConfig if it opens), then run the installer again. You can now run MSconfig to restore normal startup and reboot once more. -
CS5.5 Master Collection on Case-Sensitive File System

The first thing I'll say is that I already know it's not possible to install on a case-sensitive file system.
So, on to my question. I have been tasked to find out a way to get this installed on our 30-35 Macs with case-sensitive file systems (required for other courses/tasks, so not an option to format.) I was trying to think of a work-around that would let me install and use the CS5.5 Master Collection, but have not been successful yet. Please note, I am not looking for a hack or extensive renaming of a bunch of files or other half-solutions I've found.
Basically, what I was wondering is, if I go into Disk Utility and create a 35GB "Disk Image", mount that, and then try to install, why doesn't that work? I mean, I am technically trying to install to a case-insensitive file system at that point, but CS5.5 still pops up with an error. Has anyone gotten this type of solution to work, or any other for that matter? Luckily my college hasn't bought the licenses for all these systems yet, but when a solution is found, they're jumping on it right away. The main reason I don't want a "hacky" solution is that being deployed on 30-35 systems, this has to be a simple solution, not something that takes hours per system.

Jeffrey SimmonsThank you for the information, I had a hunch it was installing stuff elsewhere too, but wasn't 100% sure. As for the problem, I ended up just converting to a case-insensitive boot partition. To others who may want to do this, I used iPartition without a problem. The only catch is, you can't just run it from the OS drive, you either have to burn a iPartition Boot DVD (requires you have your OS dvd as well), or do what I did and just install OSX to an external drive, install iPartition, then convert the file system on the regular OS drive. A bit of a hassle, but you don't have to format your system.
CS5.5 Master Collection then installed fine, with no problems. Unfortunately, Photoshop keeps repeatedly crashing. It's fine for hours, then crashes 4+ times within an hour. Repeats this over and over unfortunately. Adobe support hasn't been helpful at all, so I'm just going to return this software and continue using Gimp. It has always done everything I wanted, but I wanted the "name brand" software. In the end, it's not worth the hassle, and definitely not worth losing my work over and over, so back to the store it goes. Thanks again for taking the time to help out though.

I'm trying to download the cs5.5 master collection trial but it say "error downloading this product (Error 109). Check your network connection or destination disk." I am able to download other trials except this one.

Need help upgrading CS5.5 Master Collection to CS6
Hi there I've got a student copy of CS 5.5 master collection bought from an online store on 28th March. I heard that you can upgrade the software to CS6 for free so how do I go about doing that since I can't find any info on Adobe's main website about it. Also when they said upgrade..., does that mean everything in my CS5.5 master collection or only some of the softwares like photoshop etc? I've registered my copy as well so if any help from you guys would be awesome. Cheers!

Urgent!!! Please!!! Installing CS5.5 master collection components
I downloaded CS5.5 master collection but didn't install all the components. What happened to the ones I didn't install? Where can I find them? Can I install them later? Do I have to download the whole collection again? Where is the installer for the rest of the components? I'm using MAC OX 10.6 system.
What do you mean when you say "components?" Do you mean programs such as Illustrator, InDesign. If you've only installed a few programs, and would like to install others at a later date, you could run the installer again and then choose the ones that you haven't installed.
Or it could be that you tried to install all of them, and because of system requirements, some did not get installed. For example, Premiere Pro which requires a 64-bit OS and you don't have one.
For a better reply, I'm afraid, you'll have to provide more details. What were you trying to install, what got installed, and did you get an error message? -
CS5.5 Master Collection install issues
I have a physical copy of CS5.5 master collection but when it installed on my Mac Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash couldn't be accessed. I uninstalled these 3 applications and now that I'm trying to reinstall the applications I'm getting and error 7 message. Does anyone know how to correct this?
