I have CS5 for Windows, can I upgrade to Creative Cloud and switch to Mac

I originally purchased my Adobe CS software for Windows - I recently have switched to Mac . . . so I am forced to upgrade my CS software. Can I use the upgrade discount of $29.99 a month and switch platforms?

If you have an Education version you will not receive a discount, since Education versions are already discounted

    Contact Adobe sales or Adobe Customer Service.
    You would have to upgrade to CS6 for Mac as a "cross-grade" or platform swap.
    They will not allow you to simply swap for CS5 Mac, because CS5 is no longer sold or supported.
    You can either upgrade to CS6 Mac by way of platform swap for some $200, or you can join the Cash Cow subscription mode.

    Hi, can anyone help me please?
    Since I updated my Mac to Maverick on the weekend...
    1. My Creative Cloud manager says all of my CC apps are up to date.
    2. The program Icons have disappeared from my Dock since my update to Maverick
    3. However in my Applications folder I can still SEE those I downloaded a few weeks ago
    4. Furthermore, clickig on one of the icons d oes not open the program AND I am unable to drag an icon to my Dock.
    Can anyone tell me what's going on?

    Thanks for your reply......so download cleaner, uninstall creative cloud app? Or all creative cloud apps, photoshop etc?, run cleaner and re install everything

    You will need to update to the latest ACR ver 6.7.1 for Photoshop cs5.
    If you  go to Photoshop's Help menu > Updates..., it should be available for download.

    CS5 for Windows can only be installed on Windows operating system.
    You would need to purchase CS5 for Mac OS.
    Given that CS5 is now 4 versions back, it's unlikely you'll find a copy.
    You could get DW CC from the Creative Cloud which supports both Win/Mac platforms.

    I currently use Adobe Standard CS 5. It was bought with the Education discount.
