I have dell xps it runs at 3840 x 2167 and bridge lightroom and photoshop are unusable as the type is so small if win is re scaled to a low res the products still use full res and you canot see text can you help!
I am about to buy the above products for home and a laptop I bought the high res laptop for editing photos and the photos look great on the display but I cannot use photo shop and lightroom
has any body had this problem and is there a simple fix that I have missed
taking the res down in the control panel reduces the res but does not effect the programme

I am using the latest photoshop and bridge from the cloud but only using the trial copy at the
moment

There is that pitfall in buying HiDpi laptops for Windows.
Only Photoshop CC 2014 has the option to scale the UI 200% in order to make it usable on these hires screens.
CC and earlier does not have this and Adobe would have to retrofit them. Not likely with older products.

Trying to use Premiere Elements 12. The interface is too small to read. The drop down menus are fine, but the static words (as is the File Edit Timeline etc. headings) and numerals (timeline count) are, for all practical purposes, illegible. i made monitor size adjustments, after checking around, I believe the problem is my high dpi monitor, 3200 x 1800. Apparently, Adobe products are known for not working well with high dpi monitors. That's why the drop downs work well while the workspace reads too small. Someone dropped the ball on this one by not anticipating devices like the Lenovo Yoga. Or, if they were aware of the issue, by not stamping it with a huge reflective sticker warning those of us who are playing the home filmmaker game to stay away. Very disappointed because I was happy with Premiere 10 and only wanted a little more processing power behind it. And I question the safety of running old software on a new machine.

What is the computer operating system on which you have Premiere Elements 12/12.1? It is essentially it is what it is. There is no user control over interface adjustments that you are referring to. But, you can try looking at Control Panel Display for computer adjustment to see if that will do the improvement you seek.
Have you gone into Control Panel Display and looked at the "easier to read options"
Smaller 100% (default)
Medium 125%
Larger 150%
What is the native resolution of your computer monitor?

Two previous questions may not have been as clear as I would have liked. I recently upgraded my MacBook 2008 (10.5.8) to Snow Leopard (10.6.8). With the updates came iTunes 11.1.1 and Quicktime 7.6.6. I am still using Garageband 2008 and iPhoto 2008. When I create music in Garageband I usually adjust the volume and save it. Even now when I share the Garageband created files with iTunes 11.1.1, the volime I previously set in Garageband is retained. However, when I use the music to create a slide show in iPhoto 2008 and export to Quicktime 7.6.6, the volume level I previously set is lost and seems to default to a low level. The problem seems to be either in the slide show export from iPhoto 2008 to Quicktime 7.6.6 or in Quicktime itself. Is there a work around, so that I can retain the volume level I had previously set in Garageband, a volume level that seems to transfer without problem to the new iTunes. But then iPhoto 2008 (slide show) possibly or Quicktime 7.6.6 do not cooperate. Before I did the upgrade to Snow Leopard, the new iTunes and Quicktime I had no problems with the set volume being retained in the old Quicktime. The reason I need control over the volume is that all these music files are uploaded to YouTube.

Are you wanting to stop the 41 files from opening at once or is this intentional? At what point do they open when you power on the mac or when you boot Illustrator? What OS version are you using?

I am a novice at Mac so I read all I can. From what I understand the NEC monitors I bought require Display Port for their maximum performance. The GTX 680 only has DVI outputs. Difference from what I understand is larger bandwidth with the DP.
You said I have the 4000 for CUDA. I am not all that familiar with CUDA and when I do read about it I do not understand it.
A concern I have is, that if I connect the 2 high end NEC monitors via the 5770, using it's 2 Display Ports I would have nothing connected to the 4000. Is the 4000 doing anything with nothing connected? I read where in a PC system the 2 cards would interact but in a Mac system they do not.
Bottom line, as I see it, the 4000 will not be useful at all to me, since I want a dual monitor set-up.
So far the 5870 seems the best choice, higher band width than the 5770, and it has 2 Display Ports to optimize the NEC monitors.
I'm not sure how fine I am splitting hairs, nor do I know how important those hairs are. I am just trying to set up a really fast reliable system that will mainly be used for CS6 and LR4. Those NEC monitors are supposed to be top notch. -

If you are having an issue with reclaiming free space after deleting photos from your iPhone, use the steps in this article to assist -
If you get a "Not enough free space" alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Specifically -
Orphaned files might remain on your iOS device if it's physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, you might see a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device in the Capacity indicator in iTunes. Try these steps:
Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes. If you see the "Not enough free space" alert, continue to step 5.
Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device:
Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes. If you see the "Not enough free space" alert, continue to step 6.
Restore using iTunes.

I had the same trouble today, I kept entering the sky password but would not accept, my iMac and iPod work ok but just could not get my iPod to work. But I found the fault, the password is case sensitive and mine on sky is in caps, the up arrows on the keypad put the caps on,but after each letter you must put the caps back or it wil revert to lower case, I hope this may help you -
Am running Firefox 3.6.10. Am having problems with Firefox crashing after upgrading to Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. Anyone else having same problem. Oh, BTW am still using Windows XP operating system.

There is no replacement program that will directly read Appleworks database files.
You have two options:
1. Continue to use Appleworks 6.2.9, which requires Rosetta installed in Snow Leopard, or the access to Rosetta by installing Snow Leopard Server in virtualization for use in Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks:

2. Export your database information into a common export function (such as delimited ASCII text file) and build a new database file in an alternate database program (such as Filemaker Pro) and import your information into it. More information here:

Every time i go to a site or and extension of a site i use a lot it asks me if it can you adobe flash I want to know how to make it so it just allows all site to just start it. I only go to mainstream sites so its not a security issue. I have gone into the adobe settings in my control panel and allow sites to store info on my PC so any other suggestions? thank you to anyone who can help.

Then duplicate the "Install Mac OS X ML" in your Applications folder and save it off to disk. Then go back and double-click on "Install Mac OS X" in your Applications folder to begin the install.

NoSure. If you use a field (button, text field) to display the text, the Mouse Up script of the Yes check box could be:

Change "button1" to the actual name of the field and "Yes" is the export value of the Yes check box. You can use whatever you want, and you'll probably want to make the button read-only as well. -
Hi all! I was updating the software on i pad to ios6, update was interrupted(apple update server is unavailable...). iTunes Diagnostics shows that "secure link to I tunes store failed". I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Can anybody help please?
