I have done 2 restores on my iPod classic 32gb, plays ok then freezes for some time then restarts, any ideas?

IPod suddenly starts playing after being inactive for some time

After using my iPod I press the play/pause button and keep it pressed for some seconds to turn the iPod off.
Some hours later -I don't know exactly how long since this usually occurs overnight- the iPod starts playing music!!!

I have a 6th generation Ipod nano (it is already a replacement after the firsts hold button broke within its warrenty) So now my replacement before it was even a year old has stopped working, the music cuts out when the screen goes dark. Ipod Touch 3rd gen not chargin anywhere else that it isn't my macbook pro and only works on one of the USB ports the other one doesnt recognize it... I use the same USB cord to charge it on the wall for some time now it wont even charge on the wall

i have an ipod touch 3rd gen this is my second ipod touch my fist one the battery died after 4 years so then a bought this one (ipod touch 3gen) and it works perfectlybut for some time know it wont charge anywhere else thats not my macbook pro and the thing is the only charges and its recognized only on one of the USB porst of the laptop i have a windows 7 computer but it wont charge there have a linux (ubuntu) machine and doesnt work either, the wall charger with the same cable i use on the laptop and wont charge either i plug it on my sisters car and wont charge my char wont charge anyways i wont charge anywhere else thats not my macbook pro only with 1 of the 2 USB pork that the MBP has..... any help? can someone ewlp me? i really doubt its the battery cause it charges fine on my MBP :/.... oh now i recently upgrade to OSX Lioin but the problem perssist I did the recent update but the problem persists :/

There's only a few things that could be my passcode, but because it disables for an hour, it is time consuming trying to figure it out. What do I do? I do not care about having to erase everything since it's new and there's nothing on it, but it was never synced with iTunes.

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

did you restore from backup or as a new device? Restore as a new device. Before you add any apps to it, use the phone with just the iOS-installed apps. If it's fine, slowly add a few purchased apps back at a time. Do this until the offending app is found.

The Original update for Apple TV was to 4.4 then a bugfix appeared called 4.4.1 Both of these have issues so Apple Pulled them and currently 4.3 is the current version for Apple TV IOS. In fact there are a number of comments in other threads where people carried out the upgrades only to restore back down to 4.3 because they did not work. Guess we will wait for Apple to send out an update.

The songs on my Ipod Classic wont play at all although you can feel and hear the machinery working hard. The tracks are not playng at all but you can see the Ipod rewinding them all and returning to the album. And this happens to the second IPOD I have!

First off, I would STRONGLY suggest that a external hard drive would make you life much easier by at least being able to back up your songs on the external drive for when you need them. Even if you don't want them in the iTunes library, you can have them all ready on the external to be re-added as needed. You can get 100's of gigs for under $100 shipped.
Anyway, since you used Yamipod, are all the songs back on the computer? If so, I would go ahead and restore the iPod, let iTunes then resync everything back to the iPod, then switch it back to manual and see if the restore and resync clears up the issue.
