i have to import user dump file in the particular username i created in the tablespace ..
in os level i have just specify imp
and then prompt ask me username and i have specified the username and password i created in the tablespace ...but it shows invalid username..
anyone plz tell me how to import in the particular username ...

user628136, as dbmsdirect.com had replied to you previously... this problem was because you were not connecting to the correct db.
in this case you specified the service name "rolta" and it connected successfully. So what error you were actually getting was quite right as the particular user "imeco" would not be existing to the database to which it was directly connecting.
I would recommend you that you can always check the ORACLE_SID before login into oracle.
echo $ORACLE_SID
if it points to the correct one then you shall not be facing this problem

From looking at the specifications of your camera (SJCam 4000), we know already what video compression your camera is using. It is H.264.
A H.264.mov file should be supported by Premiere Elements 11. On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer? And, are you running QuickTime and Premiere Elements 11 from a
User Account with administrative privileges? Please go to Premiere Elements 11 Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime to confirm that you find
presets there for the QuickTime choice there.
What are the properties of these H.264.mov files - is it 1080p30 (1920 x 1080p30) or something else? Do you know if this camera is recording with a variable or
a constant frame rate?

I have problem with importing photos from my Nikon-camera...

... to iPhoto. For each photo I want to import I have to click on the cancel-button in a textbox who says that the file can not be detected and I have to reconnect to the server. Why??

This sometimes occurs if you’re importing a file into iPhoto and there’s already a file there with the same name. Digital cameras can produce many, many files with the same name over their lifetime, so it’s not uncommon to have several files called IMG_00543.JPG, for instance. Now you want to import one also called this.
What happens is that iPhoto compares the two files to check for duplicates. However, if iPhoto cannot find the file already in the database for comparison, then you get this message. It suggests that your database is damaged because iPhoto has lost track of this (or these) similarly named files.
A simple test is to rename the file you are importing - just add a character - IMG_00543a.JPG for instance. If this then imports with no issue then you might consider rebuilding your library:
Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have problems with importing music to iTunes, can somebody please help me?

I have all my music organized on an external hard disc in folders for each artist and album, but I can only import some of the folders. It’s like iTunes isn’t registering specific folders, and just skip these folders while the rest of the folders is added as normal. It's the file attributes. The files will add but when you try to add a folder it doesn't work. You can get a bulk attribute changer progeam like BulkFileChanger and get rid of the Hidden and archive attributes, This fixed my problem.

The main function is ID_NULL and if you use NOT ID_NULL means it will give a reverse value.
That means if an id exists, then ID_NULL will return FALSE and NOT ID_NULL will return TRUE.

iPhoto is not a Photo Viewer. It's a Photo Manager and designed for looking after the files while you organise the Photos. It really works much better if you let it manage those files. If you use iPhoto you never go near those files because iPhoto is your start point for anything you want to do with your Photos - the point of the pplication.
You can run iPhoto in Referenced mode, where it does not copy the files to the Library, but I caution you that you are making life a lot more difficult for yourself by doing that.

Example-CD : "Tracy Chapman , Telling stories" is not able to import . I have more such negative cases. But in other cases it works fine and the sound is great.
The firmware at the inbuild CD/DVD DS-6E2SH is the latest version.

I don't no about virtuel drives like you mententioned. In the mean time I have rebooted the XPS and run again the iTunes diagnostics. I think the back - chance in the registry was not ready to use. Now there are another results. They are the same in case of a running CD or a not running CD. The difference in total is like before. It takes more time that iTunes reads the (bad) CD and at the there is no good sound. In both cases ( running or not running CD) iTunes diagnostics gives as a result :
(the copie from ITunes shows the result of the not running CD from Tracy Chapman)

There are a few things that are confusing in your question.
As far as I know, you dont have to install Time Machine on this OS as it is already installed for you. You only need to connect a hard drive to your computer via firewire or usb, click on the Time Machine icon, Open Time Machine Preference in the drop down menu and select a disk: your connected hard drive.
You can of course reformat this connected device, partition it into a few volumes to organise data if you so wish.
I find it strange that your mac's hard drive is divided into two volumes... perhaps this was created through bootcamp?
You can access the configuration of your hd through Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities.
Clicking on one of the icons on the right hand panel will bring the details of the contents of your hardDrive and volumes. From there you can decide to erase a partition, reformat etc....
If your hd contains more than one volume, and one of them is empty, you could decide to remove it. Back up all your important data before doing so.

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

What make/model camcorder are you using?
Are you absolutely certain this is AVCHD video? Tell us more about the video settings you used in the camcorder (eg, frame size, frame rate, quality level)
Why are you attempting Log & Transfer from a card reader instead of from your camcorder? Have you tried doing Log & Transfer from your camcorder?
Are the SD cards straight from the camcorder, unaltered, or are you just using the cards as storage?
Are you using FCE 4.0 or FCE 4.0.1?

After upgrading to Maverick mailboxes have disappeared. Even after checking library, rebuild etc. they are gone. With important data. Is there any hope?

Maverick - lost all my mailboxes (Apple Mail) with important datat. Followed advice on help menu to reindex, rebuild; called Apple Chat. No help.
Losing important data is a HUGE problem.
Also, Maverick no longer has the many folders I once had in my Home scree. These folders included other important information
carefully arranged. Are the files somewhere else? In what order? What a mess!

I woke up this morning with the same problem (all was fine last night). Only way to get all my mailbox folders back was to use Time Machine while in Mail, choosing the backup file from previous night and selecting EACH MAILBOX to restore (23 for me). All appears okay so far today (except some of my accessories in the menu bar are gone).

HT2905 This is all well and good if you only have a Few DUPLICATES in your Library. But what if you have Hundreds, because every time they come out with a New Version of iTunes, you have to Re-Import all of your Songs and Playlists into your Library?

What is the easiest way to Automatically Remove Duplicates from my iTunes Library (instead of doing it one by one, which is unfeasible when there are Hundreds of duplicates from installing the newest version of iTunes, or putting it and all of your songs on a New Computer, and it loosing track of all of your File Folders and Playlists, so you have to re-import everything, hence why the Thousands of Duplicates...
I know there are programs you can BUY that will remove Duplicate Tracks from your iTunes Library, but iTunes is Free, so why should I PAY to fix something that's screwed up about it?

See my tips on duplicates. If iTunes creates duplicates when you add content then it is a failure of the workflow you are using.
Upgrading iTunes should have no adverse effect on your library, however you should maintain a backup regardless.
See also this migrate iTunes library post on moving the library to a new computer properly so that there is no need to reimport any content and no lost ratings, playlists, play counts etc.

Problems with importing text messages from PC Suit 7.1.18.0 to my Nokia 5800
I am trying to import a csv file that contains text messages (Note that this file was created using PC Suit 7.1.18.0) to a subfolder that I have created to My Folders but PC Suits only imports the text messages to the Draft folder. Note that initially it shows that the messages are import in the correct folder but after a refresh it shows them in the Draft Folder. Is their any setting that I should change in the PC Suit or the phone? My computer runs on Windows XP Service Pack 3 and the Nokia 5800 was upgraded to the latest firmware v20.0.012

Most phones only allows importing of draft and archived box for SMS.
To do a restoring, you need to backup the SMS as a .nbu file using PC Suite and restore later.
If you got an SD card, you can also do a backup on the SD Card (backup.arc) then restore later (reset and restore: backup.arc and mmc).
