I have down loaded Yosemite /MSWord prob.

Hello Fellow Apple mac book pro, owners
Last week I downloaded Yosemite to my Mac Book Pro , Some likes and some dislikes but that's ok.
This is my problem I opened an old document ( recipe ) . brought it up to read, it would not enlarge. just a 2' x 2' page.it would not open. next, I tried to delete this off my desktop with no results. Then I hit the little green dot in the left corner of the doc. this slid the doc to my dashboard at the bottomright side
My next move was to try to move the small page to the trash it jumped out and back to the dashboard.
next I tried to quit Word that too was a no go.
So I tried to replace this doc with another oops! now I have two documents on either my desktop of both are sitting in my bashboard.
I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw but not completely dull.Help me hone in on this problem please

Sorry to say it, but I think you can see from Bob's response that there's no way to solve this rapidly.
Did you take an image of your Mountain Lion install before upgrading to Yosemite? Roll back to that. If you're not in the habit of taking a snapshot of your system before performing operating system upgrades - get in that habit. If you are dependent on anything at all on hour computer, having a reliable backup method in place is essential. If you don't have a Time Capsule, or some other way to run Time Machine onto a disk that's not in your computer, go set that up yesterday.
If you can't just remove Yosemite and roll back to Mountain Lion for whatever reason, you can partition your drive so that you can install both Yosemite and Mountain Lion on the same drive, and then boot into Mountain Lion when you need to work in CS5. Or you can take your Mountain Lion disc (I assume you have one, no?) and then use it to create a virtual machine in something like VirtualBox to run Mountain Lion from inside Yosemite.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

HT1391 I have down loaded a number of songs but after a short while they go messing. I tunes can not find them. If I down load from a cd there is no problems. I tunes can always find them. For that reason I no longer down load from the I tunes store. why

Go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the De-authorise All button in your account's details. Use the De-authorise All and then authorise the PCs you still have.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit

When you download from the Adobe site, despite the button saying “install” — it really doesn't do anything but download the installer.

Videos should not appear in the iPod app, they should be in the video app.

From the Safari menu bar, select Safari ▹ Preferences… ▹ Security and uncheck the box labeled Enable plug-ins. Test.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I've un-checked the track and re-synced the Ipad as suggested, but then re-checking and re-syncing han no effect. The track is still missing the final minute and a half or so. I've tried it twice, but the effect is the same.
Any other ideas? Would un-checking the entire music collection and staring again work, or is that a road to disaster?

The downloaded file is the projector, not an installer; you need to make the file association manually:
move the downloaded exe file to a location you can remember, e.g. C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
right-click on a swf file and select Open with > Choose default program
navigate to the folder you saved the player and select flashplayer_13_sa.exe
