This solution I have already tried; it worked for actually accessing the net (which was my first problem with the new Safari), but I was unable to access my e-mail. I have tried the suggested solution, before I received this message, of emptying my Safari cache after logging on to the net - did not work. still locked out of email. I am now also getting an ATT message that says "Unknown Destination". That may be an improvement, but certainly not any lead to an answer.
This suggests that there may be a problem w/ ATT, but I need to explore the Safari issue further to in order to be able to push harder on ATT. -
I have downloaded the latest version of itunes but when i plug in my ipod it doesnt list any devices in itunes to enable me to choose my ipod to sync it. Its like there is a link missing or something blocking my computer talking to itunes. My computer itself recongnises the ipod but itunes doesn't. Please help!
Yes reinstalled itunes a couple of days ago but got it sorted now thanks, the problem was that when i wiped my computer last week and reinstalled everything using the discs the free McAfee anti virus that the computer came with was still in my all programmes list although i aren't using it. This morning i tried unistalling that (didn't think it would make any difference as the programme wasn't active) once uninstalled i pluged the ipod in and hey presto it is now recognised by itunes, THANK GOODNESS. So panick over for now, thank you very much.

I have had to restore my pc to a place back in time when it worked correctly. This meant that iTunes was deleted. I have now downloaded the latest version of iTunes but I cant sync my iPad with it. I get the message that this iPad is synced with another iTunes Library and cant sync to this one. Thankfully all my music library is on iPad. I would be grateful for some help on this issue

Appears I have downloaded the latest version of itunes, but stays the same
I have been trying to update to the latest version of itunes, and after I click on "download version 11" it quickly says "thank you for downloading the latest software". No install process appears to happen, and i go to open itunes and its still a previous version. I have tried updating through the control panel as well, but it has not worked. I can't seem to connect to my son's itouch with the current version on my pc.

I was updating iTunes to version 11.1.4 and the installation failed. I follwed all the steps from the Apple Support website to uninstall iTunes. The Apple Mobile Device Support would not uninstall, but I proceeded based on info from the support community. I am now trying to download and install iTunes. I show that iTunes has downloaded, but I cannot get the installer program to open/run. Any suggestions for what I might try?

What version if the OS do you have? What version of iPhoto did you have, what version did you download (and from where), what version do you have currently installed and what is the exact error message you get?

I downlouded the extra material there it was buttoms but not the firefox uploading buttom I did not find. I have a mac.

I downloaded the update as instructed. Then it told me to wait for the firefox icon. It never appeared so I couldn't complete the update. I've tried many times.
