I have downloaded a tv series into itunes and the third episode won't play. We have successfully watched the first two. What is the problem?

I am having trouble viewing the third episode of a tv series that I have downloaded on Itunes. Any suggestions?

It won't work, they are linked to your account and can only be played via iTunes on a computer, an iOS device or Apple TV. You might be able to get a cable to link your Mac to your TV so that you can play/mirror it through your TV e.g. if it's a Macbook with an HDMI socket and your TV also has an HDMI socket then you could try an HDMI to HDMI cable (Apple do them, and electrical stores should also have them) - I've used one to play iTunes TV programmes on my TV (though I don't think that I got sound through my TV, only my Mac).

But the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini should support HD videos.
What I would try is downloading the movies directly to your iPad mini or your iPhone. You will want to do this when connected to Wi-Fi, but you can follow these steps in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

Try disconnect your computer from the internet and see if you can open iTunes and connect your device without crash.
if iTunes does open without crash, go to iTunes Menu Edit > Preferences, "Advanced" tab and click the "Reset Cache" button, OK.
Close your iTunes.
Now, use Windows Explorer to delete the contents of Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Download
You may now re-connect your internet then see if you can open iTunes and connect your device without issues.

Try delete those songs using iTunes by de-selecting and sync. After that mark those songs and sync again.

Everytime I try and download an app I type in my password and nothing happens. If I click it again then it asks for my password again then retupe and have the same problem. It's the same when trying to log into iTunes from the app and the same when I try updating an app, If I type the password wrong then it tells me it's wrong. Have you loaded the unlock onto your phone yet?
If yes: connect to iTunes to load the up-to-date carrier settings of your phone.
If that does not work navigate to settings>general> reset>reset network setting and confirm that.
If that does not work have your SIM replaced.
If no: backup your data, then navigate to settings>general> reset> reset contents and settings and confirm that your phone will be reset to factory settings. Then set it up again and load your backup. Now you have loaded the unlock.
If all of that does not help contact Apple to check if the carrier has really done the unlock. And if you have not doen an official unlock, but a jailbreak there is nothing I can do for you.

I just purchased a Nano. I have a ton of music that I on my computer from before I had a nano and had a mp3 player. I never had a problem transferring that music before. So I didn't purchase them from Itunes. Now that I have a Nano I want to put all those songs on my nano. I also have a iphone that I did buy some songs so those will transfer on my nano. And you are saying all the songs you purchased from the iTunes Store can be synced to the nano without any problems? But NONE of the other songs (that are NOT from the iTunes Store) can be synced to the nano, or SOME of them?

You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
you will have to get other music from where yo obtained them before.
The problem was that you synced the iPod to other than the one syncing computer/library y can have.

Is it possible to download ebooks from amazon into itunes and then sync to the ipad2 without wi-fi?

We have an ipad2 without wi-fi or 3G. We download games with itunes onto a PC and then sync to the ipad. We are not able to do this with ebooks using kindle or nook for ipad. Is wi-fi necessary in order to download books from Amazon/ Barnes & Nobles?

It is necessary for Amazon's Kindle app as you download the ebooks directly (wirelessly) into the app from the Amazon site, it's not done via iTunes (I don't think that there is any other way, though I haven't checked their website). Don't know about Barnes & Noble as I havn't used it. If you don't have a wireless network yourself do you have any coffee shops etc nearby that you could use for downloading the ebooks ?
