I have downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements 11 on my new Macbook Pro.  Why can't I see my scanner (Epson Perfection 3200 Photo) from the File>Import menu?

There was no driver update available (it said my driver was up to date), so I just deleted the scanner and restarted the computer.  when it came up, the scanner had already been added again.  With great anticipation I tried to import from Photoshop...but no luck (scanner was not visible).  I finally ended up calling Epson (had great difficulty in locating a number for support) and they finally told me there is no driver update for OS X 10.10 and I should as a work around use "Image Capture" application.  I tried it, and it works quite well.

    I downloaded Photoshop Elements 12 to work on my new platform Windows 7. It does not work properly. Specifically my problem is that I can only load one picture at a time onto the work area even if I have chosen two separate pictures. In other words I can not cut and paste not can I join pictures together.
    If I load the program on my older computer with WindowsXP it works fine.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    You have probably forgotten. In recent versions of PSE you must go to the edit>preferences>general and turn on Allow Floating Documents.

    I've since tried to open organizer several times, but it goes immediately to "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working".  I was able to open Editor, and tried opening Organizer from Editor, but encountered the same problem.
    FYI, I have an open case (#0214505556), but have not received the help I need.

    This issue is with respect to Elements 13.

    I've repaired many a 150:30 error using this method. First make sure your account is an Administrator type.
    When you type sudo <space> and drag LicenseRecover.py into the Terminal window, this is what you should see when you press Enter.
    Type in your admin password if any, and let the script run and finish.

    I tried chatting with someone earlier today, but they ended the session (I think accidentally?) before it was resolved. My error is below. Now chat seems to be closed - although I thought it was open 24/7, so I can't try that again. This is the most frustrating support experience I've ever had. I just want to access and start using the products I purchased Friday. I would be so happy if someone would just help fix this. I am not computer inept, but cannot figure out why the download is failing.
    The guy on chat that was helping me before getting cut off had me run a SCANNOW system scan, but that's where the session unexpectedly ended.

    I'm attempting to download mountain lion, but everytime I click the download button, it turns white and the just reverts back to normal. I tried restarting the computer, and I see the dock icon saying it's downloading, but again, nothing in the App Store changes.     Like you I contacted Support, in my case via Live Chat. They didn't tell me to upgrade but did tell me to copy files to a flash drive or similar. Like you, I said this was unacceptable.
    My product was registered, don't know if that was important, but eventually they sent me a link from which to download elements 10 and stayed online to ensure the download worked which, after one false start on my part, it did.
    So it took some time but it has been sorted. Below is the email I got from them signing off the issue. If you have still got a problem, Seetharam was very helpful.

    There is no 'Twain Acquire' option in menus, nor is there a suitable pluggin showing up in that menu option that would allow me to 'communicate' with my scanner.

    Adobe discontinued their old 32 bit Twain plugin for the 32 bit version of Photoshop CS6.
    There is no free TWAIN software for 64-bit Photoshop. My recommendation is for the paid 3rd party software, Vuescan, that supports both 32 and 64 bit TWAIN operations in Photoshop for just about any scanner out there.  www.hamrick.com
    You can use File > Import Images from Device and see if that meets your needs.

    Hi Anina,
    The .dmg file is the original installation package.
    Do you remember the software going through the installation process and asking you to input a serial number?
    I would suggest moving the .dmg file to your desktop, and then initiate the installation process by clicking on the install.app.
    You should get a message that the installation is successful once it completes. Try launching the application after that.

    Anyone know if it is possible to install Photoshop Elements 4.0 on macbook pro 10.6.4? Cause when I install it, restart computer, open the application then it says that something is invalid, name, licence nr, ... But I know that everything is correct and I tried to uninstall it and then again install it but the problem remains.
    Any word of advice?

    A quick Google search found the page below that states that PSE 4.0 is NOT compatible with Leopard so it is certainly not compatible with Snow Leopard.
    If you need PSE, you are going to have to upgrade to a newer version
