I have downloaded Firefox 4, but Firefox 3 is still on the computer. How do I get rid of it?

Both Firefox 4 and Firefox 3.6 are on the computer. I want to delete Firefox 3.6.

If both versions are installed in different folders then move the installation folder of the Firefox 3.6 version to the trash in the Finder.

4. At least one of the apps in the Spotlight search results is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash, after quitting it if it's running. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
5. Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.

If you don't want recents in your App Switcher screen:
