I have downloaded firefox 4,but it does not go into my applic folder
when i go to my apps folder and try to drag the icon across a window says that a newer one already exists. this is the first time ihave downloaded firefox 4. when igo to the icon in my dock it just opens the existing firefox

HT1390 I downloaded a movie but it does not appear in my movie folder
I downloaded a movie from iTunes (confirmed that my account was charged for it) but it does not appear in my iTunes library. (I have done this before - the movie automatically appeared in my Movies folder the last time. This time, it did not.)

The opening page does not show the orange bar that is supposed to hide my choices. How do I move back and forth between pages as there are no back and forward arrows at top left anymore.
Also I cannot view the html or web address of the page I am working on to see if it is a secure site (ie for money transactions)
or to copy the web address to send to another person.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -

I am trying to transfer photos, music, etc from my Power Mac G5 to my new iMac. The Power Mac is too old for the migration assistant to help. I have an old Firewire but it does not fit the new iMac. Any suggestions? If a Firewire is the best option which one do I need? Thanks.
You need a Firewire 800 to 400 adapter or cable or a external USB 2/3 drive (self powered) it can default to the old USB the G5 uses 1 or 2.

I have no sound for games in my iPad. I have tried the reset but it does not work. The speakers work as I have sound for music and videos.

Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. To solve some sound problems, just follow these simple steps

What this effectively does is to reset some of your Settings to factory default. It’s not a complete removal of settings. All of your email accounts will remain intact, as well as any SMS text or iMessages.

Have you bought subscription for Acrobat, if yes then you might need to sign in at "adobe.com" using your Adobe ID credentials to activate subscription.

If you go to your applications folder (Go>Applications) do you have Adobe Reader in there? If you open Adobe Reader and choose File>Open are you able to open a pdf file?
