I have downloaded Firefox 7.0 after that I got the message that the file is corrupt, what do I have to do now?
The Firefox help page warned me that I was using a vulnerable version of Firefox. I use the release version but that was an automatic update. I downloaded Firefox 7.0 from the original Firefox Homepage so I don't understand why I can't install this new version. I hope you can help me with this problem.

every time i try to download firfox as a browser it tells me the file is corrupt.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
See "Disable virus scanning in Firefox preferences - Windows"

I download a lot using firefox mozilla and after a few hours, the downloads that are set in queue fail to download and I have to reset the same by going to the site and downloading the same again. Is there a solution to this problem?
Try to use an external download manager.<br />
Such programs usually have more options when it comes to downloading a lot of files.
You can use the FlashGot extension to integrate an external Download Manager in Firefox.

For several months I have been trying to upgrade my Firefox version, which is no longer supported by several software platforms I need as a songwriter, such as Flashplayer, etc. After I download the upgrade all I get is a message that the file is corrupted. I am not very tech-savvy so I need to talk with someone who can explain what to do in layman's terms.
Which version of Mac OSX do you have?

As per the instructions, I click on "run" to complete the download, but instead of completing the download, a window appears which says that the author is unknown. I ordered a download of PagePlus X5 from Serif in the UK. The program is 706 MB. Several times, only 300+ MBs downloaded. The program had .exe but the partial download had .msi. The message that came up was "Setup was unable to find the msi package or patch . . ." Serif suggested I install Firefox as a web browser to see if the program would download. That is what I tried to do, and that is when I got the message that the file was corrupt. Serif is sending me a disk. Is there a disk for Firefox?
How large is your iPhone's storage? 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB? You can go to Settings > General > Usage, and that will tell you how much storage you have used and how much you have left. If the storage is truly almost full, then you would need to either delete files from your iPhone, or sync less files from iTunes to your iPhone.
Hope this helps! -
I downloaded FIrefox 5 but when I try to install iget a message that the file is corrupt.
I have downloaded Firefox 5 to my "Download" box. When I click on the Firefox 5 icon I get the usual small window that asks if I want to install the program. When I click on the install buton, I get a small popup that says the file is "corrupt" and when I click "OK" it closes without installing. Hard to use new version when I cannot even install it. I have done this twice and am downloading again for a 3rd time

Then retry opening Firefox.
You can also try opening Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] (use Continue in Safe Mode first).
If that works, reopen Firefox Safe Mode, but use the dialog option to '''Restore default search engines''' as shown at https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode#Safe_Mode_window and press the '''Make changes and restart''' button. -
I have Windows OS. I downloaded Firefox yesterday. Every time I open the Firefox browser, it starts in safe mode. I have restarted my machine several times -- Firefox still starts in Safe Mode. My favorites from IE copied to Firefox fine, and Firefox is now my default browser...it just keeps opening in Safe Mode.
I downloaded the toolbar. When I was done using the computer, I put it to "sleep." The next time I "woke" the computer and went to Firefox, the toolbar was gone. When I downloaded the toolbar again, I got a box in the upper left hand corner of the screen stating Firefox BLOCKED the toolbar, and did I want to allow it. There was NO option to allow always-it's just a one time deal. When I shut down for the day, I expected it to remain, but no-next time I fired up firefox, NO TOOLBAR. I pulled up Inbox dollars again, clicked on download toolbar, got the box stating it's blocking the toolbar, etc, etc, etc. Unless Firefox upgrades daily, or in some cases, several times in one day, I'm going to stick with my description that the toolbar magically disappears EVERY TIME I OPEN
FIREFOX!!!
I don't profess to be any type of computer whiz, I'm totally self-taught, and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that I'm doing something wrong. I've been using Firefox for about a week, so I'd welcome any help! -
The download for firefox setup 6.0.2 exe was successful, but when I tried to open it, I received a message that the file is corrupt.
If you get an error message that you do not have sufficient permissions to update then easiest is to trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
* Firefox 3.6.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
