The pdf files should still be in your email. Open the email again. Tap and hold down on the pdf icon and a window will pop up with apps that you can open the pdf files in. If you have the iBooks app, save the files to there. You can open and print them from iBooks. If the PDFs files are already open in the email, tap anywhere on the open pdf and you will see the action icon in the upper right corner. Tap that icon and you will get the same Open In window and you can choose iBooks from there. When you go back to the mail app, if you have to close the pdf file, tap on it again and you will see Done in the upper left corner. Tap that to close the file.

There are no files like that in that folder (com.apple.safari). They all have long numbers with .jpeg or .png at the end. That's what I meant by I cannot find any files like those mentioned in all the helps I read today. BTW-it's still crashing - no particular pattern to it at all.
The only two things I have downloaded recently is a new version of Flash and a Mac-driven update to Office.

If they are not on the iPod or on the computer they are gone and you will have to repurchase them if you want to play them again. Movies are not one of the categories of iTunes purchases allowed for a free redownload.

I just spent forever with this problem with verizon. did you try downloading from Verizon Tones? If you did and didn't get it resolved try this...
Go into verizon tones and press and hold the soft key (the recent apps key-used to be the menu options key on old phones) to the left of the home button. when you press and hold it, the menu options come up instead of the recent apps. Then press "downloads". I found my ringtone there under "pending"

HT203322 Still having issues with installing Yosemite after deleting "Backups.backupdb" on the internal hard drive. I have restarted multiple times and cannot find any other back up files, yet I still receive the same error message during installation.

I am using a 2011 iMac on 10.6.8. I recently downloaded the Yosemite upgrade and during the installation process ran into the "this disk is used for time machine backups". I ejected the external drive I use for time machine backups and turned off time machine in the application. I then followed the instructions of the help article (OS X: Cannot install on a volume used by Time Machine for backups - Apple Support) by moving the folder "Backups.backupdb" that I was able to find on my internal hard drive to the trash. I have restarted several times after completing this process. I am still running into the same error during the installation process. I have searched the hard drive for any other backups and I cannot find any. I searched the hard drive using the command cmd-shift-g and searched for “backups.backupdb” and was unable to find any folders or files. Any other suggestions?

I have resolved the problem - I did not actually delete the "backups.backupdb" folder, I only deleted the contents of the folder. I must have only searched on the user account for the folder after I thought I had deleted it. Thank you for the assistance everyone and I apologize for the inconvenience!

FIGURED IT OUT! Not easy to figure out at first. Also, I see where Verizon's ringtones expire after 12 months, so you may want to manager your finances accordinly...
******Essentially you need to copy it from your dowload folder to a ringtone folder. Then set it as your setting for sound.****
Go to Apps icon --> Choose MY FILES folder icon
Select file folder called "SDCARD0"...
Select file folder called "DOWNLOAD FOLDER"...the ringtones from Verizon were downloaded in here. Scroll down to the to your ringtone... it will be listed by the name of the ringtone song.
Select the ringtone you downloaded. You'll have to complete action using Google Play Music or Sound Player. I chose Soundplayer just once. The song will play. You can pause it.
Hit the SETTINGS KEY on bottom left of you phone on that next to the raised button.
Select SET AS and chose to save it in the PHONE RINGTONE.
To activate it,
Hit the SETTINGS KEY on bottom left of you phone on that next to the raised button.
Select SETTINGS
Select SOUND
Select DEVICE RINGTONE and it will be in the folder!

HI Jazzy, caveat first. I'm not hugely experienced with iTunes and syncing music, BUT, I think the problem is your switch of Apple ID. The music you had before 'belongs' the the previous family AppleID. When you switched ID, then iTunes didn't associate the new ID with the old music list.
Try this:
Log back in with the family ID. Either change the credit card number to your own, or add your credit card to the family one. You should be able to delete it later when you have finished. Then you should be able to download the Justin Timberlake album to the family account.
My suspicion is that by logging back in with the original ID, all the music should be back.

How do I find the Firefox version that is compatible with my laptop? The old one was working just fine until I tried the update!!! Please advise.

I have lost the document and cannot find it anywhere.

I have been working on a lengthy document all evening in Pages.
I went to highlight it all (cmd A) to regularise the font etc, and I think I hit Alt just afterwards and the document has disappeared. I cannot find it anywhere, not in trash, documents or finder.
Please, has anyone any ideas where it may be and how I can find it?

Menu is the bar of pull down menus at the top of your screen.
"Window" is the 3rd from the right.
Open documents are listed at the bottom of the Window menu.
Select any you want to come to the fore.
It has occurred to me that you may have hit a key combination with all the text selected, so the text got replaced with nothing and that is what you are talking about.
Menu > Edit > Undo as many times as makes your material come back.
