I have downloaded iBooks, but it won't sync on my iPad2 following a restore.

I found this on a different thread of the discussion. It worked perfectly the first time and solve the problem I can see the covers and all my content.

Reboot your iPad and then try it again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Sometimes your security software will block new programs from accessing the internet. Are you getting any alerts along those lines?
Sometimes Firefox will stall during startup and never display its window. In that case, you may need to manually "kill" the firefox.exe process using the Windows Task Manager before trying to start Firefox again.
You can display the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Windows 8.1 has a different display than Windows 7, so I have to go by memory. If you see a tab named Applications, check that one first. Then check Processes, and finally check Details. If you find Firefox or firefox.exe on any of those tabs, select it and End Process (or other action to shut it down).
After you are done with the Task Manager, try starting Firefox up again.

hey did u find the fix for it? which versions r u using. I am using firefox 4.0.1 and I could install the Firebug 1.7.3 and it just worked perfectly.

IOS 5 won't install!!! Please help!!

The other day, I up dated my iPad and iPhone (because I'm a developer) to iOS 5.0 GM (Golden Master). Today, when Apple released the final version via iTunes, I clicked "Check for Update" and it said for both devices they are "Up to Date". So I figured "Lets try a restore". Well, it download the firmware, but when it went to install it, it said that "This device isn't eligible for the requested build". What can I do to fix this? Should I try to downgrade the devices, or will that brick them? Please help!

You still need to answer steadman's question - which model of iPod Touch have you got? What does the model number on the back of the iPod say?

I have updated the entire Creative Cloud repeatedly, even used the cleaner tool to remove older files, preferences and OOBE file and still cannot use update from help menu in IndesignCC to get DPS tools. It is greyed out.
No options available in the folio builder either. And if i close the folio builder the only way it comes back is to reset the publishing profile.
Please help as learning this software has become a priority in my industry.

Dying to use my 80GB iPod, but iTunes won't cooperate... Please help!

I've had my new 80GB iPod for over a week, and I'm getting no use out of it because of iTunes.
I first installed iTunes 7 right after getting my new iPod. It took several tries to install it. After I thought it worked, it ended up not working because QuickTime hadn't installed properly. I uninstalled iTunes, installed an older standalone version of QuickTime and then upgraded with the iTunes 7 installer. When I plugged my iPod in, the Setup Assistant never ran because iTunes wouldn't detect my iPod. One day, the Setup Assistant spontaneously decided to run, and I assumed everything would be working.
After that one occasion, iTunes would no longer detect my iPod unless I went through the process of turning off the iPod service, plugging the iPod in, restarting the service and manually opening iTunes. I was able to sync only a fragment of my iTunes library because iTunes just stops detecting my iPod within a few moments -- I'm good for 2 minutes or LESS. If this happens, I have to close iTunes and repeat the process of stopping/restarting the iPod Service all over again.
I updated iTunes yesterday, and it's even more difficult to get iTunes to detect my iPod. Simply stopping/restarting the iPod Service doesn't always work, and I ofter have to restart the computer and then go through the iPod Service routine. It detects the iPod less than half of the time, and still loses it after only a few moments of recognizing it. I wanted to restore the iPod and start from scratch, but I can't because iTunes stops detecting the iPod before the restore process begins.
I've completely removed iTunes/QuickTime several times and have done everything suggested in the support articles, but nothing works... I'd really appreciate any suggestions because this is driving me absolutely crazy.

yes, it would be nice if it was easier to find this one. it might be good, for example, if there were links from some of our other main troubleshooting documents to it. like this one:

as to why having Terminal Services enabled is so important with 7 ... i'm not precisely sure. one of my first thoughts (when i found out about this one) was "so, what is Terminal Services?"
from what i was able to track down at MS:

... it seems plausible that some of the new functionality we get with ipods in itunes 7 depends on Windows components that rely on Terminal Services. but i'd be guessing if i tried to say what functionality and what Windows components were involved.

My itouch is frozen on the black screen with the apple icon, I've done the whole reset holding the power and home button together but still won't work. Can someone please help!?

Did you try to reset by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Does it work with headphones plugged in? If yes, did you try to play music in headphone mode, then unplug during playback and start playing music again after that?
If you toggle the volume, can you see the slider moving up or down?

Windows 7 64 bit won't install quicktime or itunes PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tried installing the new quicktime and itunes on my computer and have had no success.
they both give an error message which looks like its saying that its not 32 bit when i quite obviously downloaded the 64 bit install file.

i have tried uninstalling everything then installing quicktime first then itunes, and vice versa but both give this message.

In the Device Manager see if the 1022 is listed under Other devices.
Under "Other devices" right click on HP 1022
Select "Update Driver Software...."
Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Select "Printers" > Next
Under "Manufactures" > HP
Under "Printers" > HP Laserjet 1020
Select "Yes" to warning popup
