i have downloaded my new itunes how can i get all my music back
Itunes was deleted? Or your itunes library was deleted?
If it was just itunes, then your music should still be there. Just reinstall itunes.
Otherwise just use your backup copy of your comuter to put everything back.

Hi
Since we downloaded the latest version of iOS on our iPad and iPhone, and synchronized our music collection in the Cloud, we can no longer see on our iPad and iPhone the music from our CD's that we have on our home computer's iTunes library. We can only see music in the iPhone and iPad library that have been purchased on iTunes. How can we get all our music from our computer's iTunes librbary visible on the iPhone and iPad? Thanks, NickResync from your computer.

I had to get my hard drive replaced from Apple, I lost all of my music obviously. My question is, how can I get all my music off of my iPhone onto iTunes? Since it's a new hard drive, the iPhone isn't recognizing this as it's home computer.
You will need to use third-party software to transfer music from your phone to the iTunes Library. I recommend Phone to Mac - Pod to Mac | Macroplant.com.

I did say m i s c h i e v o u s didn't I? Mysterious it is though too.
Regarding the latter, I have some tips for searching... (WARNING: I don not have a high opinion of the Forum Search abilities)

The above is what is called "Space Search"
I used the first word of you above post " Great! " with a couple of filters applied - found this thread and one other
If you can think of any term you may have used, it may be of some benefit to use this search

I am VERY fond of Google "Site Search" for all of Apple.Com and its subdomains...
a mere search for your username with quotes no brackets [ "freedone" ] yielded 313 results - but there IS another username "freedoneb" that may take up some of that real estate

I have an ancient laptop (from 2005) that has my entire music library. This laptop barely works and some keys don't type anymore. How can I get all this music transferred to another computer, or available to me on the cloud?
No... do not move programs.
About the iTunes library files
Your iTunes library files track the media you add to iTunes, how you've organized it, and other information such as playlists. By default, these two files are in your iTunes folder:
Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music/iTunes/
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\
Windows 7: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\
Windows 8: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\ -

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

how do i get all my music back ????
- If in the USA you can redownoad iTunes purchased music by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- If not in USA, you can contact iTunes and they may allow a redownload if yu explain what happened. However, it is up to your to backup music.
- For other music you will have to go back to where it was obtained. -
Like I said, my back up broke and I can't get all of my music back by transfering purchases because I burned a lot of CD's I had collected from the past. I don't have any of those CD's anymore, so how can I get all of my music onto my new iTunes? Or am I just S.O.L.?
Phone to Mac,this app lets you easily copy, transfer the music, videos and playlists from any iPod or iPhone directly into iTunes on any Mac.

I need help. I would like to get all my music back. Thank you
For what silly reason would someone expect media to magically appear simply because they signed into iTunes?
Media is only where the user puts it.
Either copy the media from the old computer (or it's backup) to the new computer or download past purchases from iTunes.
