I have downloaded some songs from Soundcloud and i have the 'waiting' iCloud Icon. How can i get iTunes to recognise the songs as i can do anything with the songs i.e.: put into a playlist?
Hi
I have downloaded 6 songs from Soundcloud.
iCloud doesn't recognise them and i have the 'Waiting' iCloud symbol.
How can i change those icons as i can't put any of the songs into a playlist?
Sounds like you are trying to manually delete content from your device via iTunes. If so, you'll want to make sure your iPod is set up for manual management by enabling the Manually manage music option from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes.

i have downloaded some products from the store.they werer downloaded.now i want to get them and used them.i do i make the payments and get these downloaded products?
<Email Edited by Host>Again, what product? And from the Apple Store, or the iTunes Store? I presume you mean the iTunes Store since you mention a "Purchased" list, but I'm not sure.
Since you seem to have problems in English, you might want to try posting your issue - a complete description of the issue, please - in your native language. That might be easier for all concerned.

I don't want iCloud. How do I get iTunes to stop popping up the panel that asks me if I want to download the iCloud Control Panel? I'm using iTunes 11 on Windows Vista.
Why do you believe iTunes is causing this to occur?
What is the exact wording of the message?
I'm running iTunes on Windows 7 and never gotten that message. -
The iPhone **** cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.6.3 or later - I get this error message yet I have 10.6.4, how can I get itunes to recognise my phone
You must be referring to OS X 10.6.4, because there is no iTunes version 10.6.4. You can download iTunes 10.6.3 here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1575
Any reason why you have not updated to OS X 10.6.8? If you did, you could then run iTunes 11.0.1. -
How do you get iTunes to recognise new/changed Airport names? These Airports have attached speakers. Itunes showes the old names of these Airports but they have been renamed in a newly reconfigured network. Itunes will play through the attached Airport attached speakers. The Airport utility shows the correct new names.
Hi turingtest2 - thanks for the reply. As you say It is how it is - and I have three workstations in this home (not counting three for my children and one for the family) and I pretty much always have more than one OS on each - that's how it is for me. I shouldn't have to worry about how many OSs I have (or how often I change them) just to have music while I'm working - through the PC sound system that is. I never have to worry about any other software, only iTunes. Once in a while (in the past) I've made a vendor call if I changed to many things to often (like CPU, GPU, memory, etc - or even a replacement MB) - but that hasn't happened in a couple years (at least since Vista) so I think (hope) they have fixed that for good. And even then it was a quick call and problem resolved. The only (glaring) constant problem is iTunes - limiting my own use of my own music (by counting an OS as a physical PC). Even with VM (which is just another OS) - although you can Attach things to multiple active OSs - it's still your own (purchased) music - and all on one PC. Thanks again!

My calendar content has disappeared. It's still on my phone and MacBook. I use iCloud. How do I get my calendar back?

I dowloaded some songs from soundcloud and they wont sync to my device
I downloaded some songs from soundcloud as a .m4v file, then went to itunes to convert it as a mp3 file. It converted it, but then it didn't sync the song to either my ipad nor my iphone. Help?
Right click the files in iTunes, click Get Info then ensure at least the Artist, Album and Genre fields are filed in on the Info tab. Then go to the Options tab to set the Media Kind option appropriately.

I have 2 Ipods, how do i get Itunes to recognise the difference?
I have a IPOD video and a Ipod nano, I want sperate songs on each, how do i do this, I dont want to loose my songs on itunes... can i get 2 itunes? Any help would be lovely !!
If you are adding a second iPod for your own use, just connect the new iPod to your computer and follow the on screen instructions to register and name it. You don't need two iTunes libraries you can use the same one for both and iTunes will recognise each as an individual device. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have your iPods update all songs and playlists, selected playlists only or you can manage either of them manually. In other words you can have each of them set to update differently, the larger one might update everything, the smaller one you might just update manually.
For info:
The iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences.
Connect your iPod to your computer and when it appears in the Source list click on it to show the preference tabs in the main pane. Choose one of the following options and click "Apply".
1) Sync Music - All songs and Playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synced to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, you are prompted to select a different update method. You'll find this in the Music Tab.
2) Sync Music - Selected playlists. With this option, iTunes automatically copies the playlists you have selected to the iPod when you connect it to the computer. You'll find this in the Music Tab.
3) Manually manage music and videos. You can also choose to transfer music to the iPod manually. This allows you to drag and drop individual songs and playlists from iTunes to the iPod. You'll find this in the Summary Tab.
Note: When changing from automatic to manual, check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Don't uncheck Sync Music it will be unchecked by default when you choose the manual setting.
