I have downloaded the iPhoto apps..then it comes up to the accept button hit accept won't do anything

I bought a second hand macbook pro...i have upgraded the osx to mavericks 10.9 no problem, then i tried downloading iphoto it comes to accept button when i hit accept and my password it wont do anything...

What version of iPhoto do you have? What exactly does happen? What error messages do you get? Is this while downloading and installing from the App store?
Or aftwperwards when you try to launch iPhoto?

I'm creating a book from an album in iPhoto. I have downloaded the latest version of iPhoto. When I choose a book, i.e. wirebound, 19-20 page book, it shows a 42 page book when I am populating the pictures in the book I've selected. Is that because I have more pictures in the album?
In any case, I can't seem to manipulate/choose the number of pages I want. How can I stick with the 20 page book I want?

You can not select the "number of pages" - you select the photos and the page layours and the number of pages comes form that - with Autoflow iPhoto uses random page layouts so the number of pages is rando=m
You can change layouts to include more photos, move photos to the pages with no empty photos frames and then delete the pages at the end after the photos are used elsewhere

If Excel works as do other apps, you should be able to tap and hold on the attachment and then select "Open in Excel" in the window that will open. Note that you need to be subscribed to and signed into Office 365 to be able to edit documents in Microsoft's apps.

Did you run the iPhoto Library upgrader after you installed it - if not backup your iphoto library and go to the utilities folder in your Applications folder and double click on the iphoto library upgrader and RUN i - then launch iphoto 9.6 to complete the upgrade

If Pages and the other applicatioins installed in the Applications in the root directory they can be used by everyone. By default all programs installed by the App store are installed in the Applications folder in the root. In other words, your family members should be able to use the programs. Can they not?

Yes, the file extension is M4R. Does it matter where I save these files on my Macbook? I then opened them in Itunes and played them. I did find the Tones folder in Itunes but the Tones or Ringtones tab does not show up when I select Iphone (within Itunes). When I open the Tones folder in the Library, it is empty. If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

Yes, you've missed the download step.
Open the Kindle app and navigate to your Library. There is a tab at the bottom that says Cloud | Device. Tap the Cloud tab and tap the books you want to download to the device. You will see a progress indicator during the download. Once it's done, read away!

What does the description for the magazine and/or the magazine's website say ? Some allow you to download on more than one device, but some magazines/newspapers only allow you one download of each copy.
