I have installed the version of iTunes 5 times. I uninstalled and started over, installed with 64-bit and still am getting an error message. Message: Error 7 (windows 126). Any thoughts?

Here is how I fixed the problem.
Uninstall Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Software Update, Bonjour, iTunes, and Quicktime. Basically any Apple software.
Download and re-install itunes, it will install all of the above.
Open iTunes. It now runs correctly.
I was having the same problem until I did this, and it fixed the problem right away.
Sit back and enjoy music.

It downloaded fine, but when I attempt to install it won't verify, saying that I am not connected to the internet when I know that I am! Tried on several wifi connections while plugged into power source. Any advice is appreciated!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

I just downloaded the latest itunes update 11.1 for windows 7 and now when I try to open itunes with the shortcut on my desktop I get this error message: "The item 'itunes.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly." I can't open itunes at all. Is there anything I can do or is there a problem with the new update?

If so, delete the current shortcut that is in the Quick Start tray and drag the one that is in Start > Programs down there. -

Thanks for the information. I am a bit nervous about the method because I get a "serious" warning when I put the command in the URL. Also, I wonder if you know the answer to this: Someone/Firefox pushed an upload tab to me. That is the best way I can explain what happened. Now, sometimes I get an ! in a triangle, sometimes I get an outdated message with the Firefox logo in place of the ! and sometimes it does not show an icon indicating the program is out of date. Several members of my family and friends are having problems mwith new iOS .7.02 operating system. Hope someone can help me with this one, have a new computer with windows 7 as the operating system, have installed elements 7 and have now purchased the 50d, as i shoot in raw have tried to open the file but elements is unable to read the raw file, have looked on various threads and have downloaded the new version of raw, this version is saved in my download file directory, have copied across these files to the elements folder but i still cannot read my raw file for the 50d, is there something i have missed.

be sure not to have the older version of camera raw plugin in the same folder as that of new one. dont even rename it. Remove it and store it in some other location in case you need to revert back the changes. The camera raw plugin is called : Camera Raw
