It may be on your desktop but you might have customized the download location. I would recommend reviewing Start the installer after downloading.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. To know where the Spotlight file is, highlight it in Spotlight and hold the Command key, so you will see its location at the bottom of the window

have a iphone 4. i have downloaded the latest version of itunes to update the ios. I am having problems with the back up and sync and also the update. the update error message is coming up saying it cannot connect to the iphone update server. I am useing a windows 7 32 bit laptop. I have also reset my phone to factory settings. Would taking it to one of the stores and they would do it for me??

You need to enter the four digit passcode that you enter when you start your iPad or awaken it from sleep after an Autolock. If you do not remember the passcode you will have to restore the device. Here's a link to what to do when you forgot your passcode.

I have a 5 month old iMac running Lion and W7 with the latest version of boot camp . It has been operating flawlessly until I went to reboot into Mac tonight. Screen went black, and system is unresponsive. I've tried force quitting and turning power off. Hard drive starts, there's a small amount of drive activity and that's it.
Hi Jane, your info may still be there, look in the Users folder at root of the drive, how many users are there there?

A previous discussion in where this came up, the stated answer was these were interchangable, was questioned by me; in that the iMac did not require the low-power RAM to function, but the portable did for most power-efficiency; and the parties to that specific discussion (ASC) did not bring up or recognize the point.
Also there is a matter of greater heat generation due to the power consumption, so that could shorten the life of the portable computer should it be running the less power-efficient hotter RAM. While the pin placement & count in one series will physically fit the other and boot it, there are differences worth considering. Important enough ones.
Some things to consider, at least you are aware of them...

When you want to add a new episodes to your podcast you don't make a new feed: you add the episode to the existing feed, then subscribers will see it immediately and the iTunes Store will pick it up in 1-2 days. You don't need to resubmit the feed - indeed you can't. -
