I have dropped my phone and it won't let me restore on I Tunes, error (-1) any help please
I dropped my phone a couple of days again and have constantly been trying to restore in I tunes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, initially phone went into recovery mode and I could only access emergency calls, now nothing just a picture of a usb lead and an arrow pointing to I tunes symbol, enquired re my insurance but excess is ridiculous does anyone have any great ideas to help me, lost without it
you broke your pohone. Pure and simple.
You can bring your phone and a credit card into Apple for an out of warranty exchange ($149 in the US) or you can try and find a 3rd party repair shop in your area.

I can't get in my phone and this is sooo frustratingtThe only way to get passed it is by entering the correct passcode. If you are unable to the you need to follow how to restore via recovery with the article you referenced. Once you restore to factory settings you will then be able to restore from back up.

You don't say which version of iPod you have but apparently it's fully updated to it's capability yet not to the level that newer iPods can go. Some apps do require the latest IOS level.

My delete button in my to do's closes the app. I've closed all the background running apps and have restarted my phone and even tried syncing to my iTunes. It's driving me nuts. Please help!
Will not complete a sync without crashing and saying cannot read to the device or something to that effect.

I synced my iPhone 4, but it keeps getting the red exclamation points and an error message when I try to download the latest software. And, it won't let me restore the phone without the latest software. I'm stuck.
Then, this morning, the phone locked up completely. I got it to turn off finally, by holding down the power button and home button at the same time for more than 10 seconds. But still no luck with the software download.
It's Thanksgiving, and can't go to Apple.
My phone is my only telephone (no home phone), and I use it to keep track of two email addresses (personal and work). So I'm anxious to have it fully operational.
