I updated my iTunes as it asked me to and then restarted my computer but iTunes would not open as it said it was corrupted. In addition as I was downloading the new iTunes a PC speed maximizer was downloaded onto my computer and I have no idea what for.

Does anyone have an ideea what is new in the newly release of S227 for P780?
After installing S227 battery is getting drained out 50% faster rate!!!!!! No point to have 4000 mamp battery pack in this situation. Request Lenovo team to resolve the issue or share the process to go back in s226. My battery is getting discharge less than a day now.

I have a packardbell laptop with photoshop elements 8 installed from new. I have used it on several occasions but I cannot get it to run now. When I open a photo using elements the Adobe box pops up saying that the programme has unexpectedley quit? can anyone help me please as I have several photos to edit before the end of this month. Many thanks for any help
The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check. -
What's new in Premiere Elements 13?
Premiere Elements 13 is more of a refinement than a major overhaul of Adobe's consumer video editing program. Though there are a couple of cool new features worth noting:
• New Guided Edits. Version 13 adds more tasks to its library of Guided Edits – step-by-step walkthroughs of its tools and effects.
• The Shake Stabilizer. The Shake Stabilizer is a very nice update of the old Video Stabilizer effect.
• Favorite Moments. A brand-new feature in version 13 is Favorite Moments, a tool for selecting the best moments from a video clip and compiling them into a smooth, new video sequence.
• Video Story. Certainly the most exciting new feature in Premiere Elements 13, though, is Video Story, an advanced tool for assembling clips and building stories using templates and semi-automatic tools.
• Burn your disc to ISOs and Folders. In version 13, your DVDs and BluRays can be burned directly to a disc or they can be archived as ISO image files for later burning to disc.
• Organizer enhancements. The Elements Organizer has also been given a tune-up. The interface has been nicely decluttered, and there’s even tighter integration with Adobe’s Revel “cloud”.
But the most interesting addition is the new theme-based Slide Show Creator, a tool that, for the first time, is available on both the PC and Mac versions of the program.
• Elements Live (eLive). Elements Live is a link directly from the programs to an exclusive web site full of exciting ideas, tutorials and other content especially for Elements users.

Here are some of my personal favorites for some of the "what's new" in v13 - the entire new feature list and specific use cases on how to use these features will be rolled out over the next several weeks...
1. Circuit Parameters - For modeling, you can set 'global' style variables and have component and model values be expressions that are dependent on these values. There is a circuit parameters dialog for adjusting the values and they can be used in the SPICE analyses (such as parameter sweep).
2. More components - Maxim has been added as a supported manufacturer (+1300 parts) and many updates to our other supported manufacturers (+1500 new parts/updates from various mfrs). We've added several new power models for thermal analysis (also included are some new eGAN FETs from EPC - these are new, small, highly efficient FETs).
3. Updated the Component Wizard - makes it easier to do the symbol pin mapping for models.
4. The LabVIEW API is now part of the installer (so if you have LabVIEW, it will automatically install for use in automating your simulations).
5. PCB templates for reusing designs. Also new/better dialog for multisection parts in heirarchical designs (which helps to better ensure synchronized hierarchical schematics/layouts).

My old computer died and I've installed my photoshop elements 10 on the new one and have imported all my photos. WHat I can't figure out is how to get my tags and albums back. I had a Norton backup of my old computer so all of the data is available. I just need help figuring out how to link it up with photoshop on the new computer. Anyone have experience with this issue?

I talked to someone on adobe site last night and he gave me a link to down load it. it failed so i googled it, and the downloaded it just fine. I went on to the adobe site signed in and looked at my product history and got the product #, however, when i entered the product # i it didn't likeit. What do i do?
Is your laptop running Windows XP, windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1? If so then I suggest download a tool that will retrieve the serial number from the old laptop which you can use it on your new machine. The tool is called:

Install this and then run it by double clicking on its icon and then wait for about 5 minutes while it generates all the info about your machine and software keys. -

You need to keep the keys pressed for several seconds. Close down Elements. Hold down the CtrlShiftAlt keys and simultaneously click on the Edit button on the welcome screen. Release the three keys and look behind the welcome screen by closing it. Or hold down the keys whilst clicking on the desktop icon for the Editor or PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe in the Programs folder. Keep holding down all three keys until you get the settings option. You should see a pop up box with the words: Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File?Click on YesThen wait whilst Elements rebuilds the preferences. Explain your situation and they will help you out. What they normally do is check whether you have already installed and activated the product. If it is not installed at all and/or activated, they deactivate the serial number and issue a new one and a download link for the MAC version.

Installed my Photoshop Elements 7 on my new laptop. Says my serial number is invalid. Chatted with customer service rep and she says the number should work. What now?

Did the serial number come from a boxed set and previously installed from disc and are you now trying to install from a download?
If so, that will not work - the serial numbers are different.
If you don't have a dvd drive on your new system, perhaps you could get someone to copy your disc to a memory stick and install from that.

Your Mac must be able to run OSX 10.6.8. If you can run that OSX then you can run iTunes 11.1.

Please can someone help a total technophobe?!!! I have recently set up a new mail account and since I've done that my wifi button has greyed out. Not sure what happened as I had help from my daughter. She doesn't think that she did anything wrong as has been an iPhone user since day one!! She's at work now so I'm totally lost. Please help. all of a sudden my itunes wont come up when i hit the desktop icon. un and re installed many times, tried new users, it finally gave me "you need to reinstall sqmapi.dll " im a noob and i have know idea what that is or where i can get it. i cant open any file or library that has anything to do with itunes except safari and quicktime are fine. im about to pull out whats left of my hair.

Can you check something for me, big? I'd like to see if iTunes launches with the Bonjour Service disabled.
In your Start menu, right-click Computer and select "Manage".
Expand "Services & Applications".
Open "Services". (Perhaps maximise the screen to better see what's going on.)
Right-click the Bonjour Service and select "Properties".
In the General tab, set the Startup type to "Disabled":
... and click OK.
Restart the PC and try launching iTunes. Does it open this time? -
I am not very good on computers and need help, I have lost past history emails when i have used hotmail on my new macbook, they say it is not set right but i do not understand! they say I need to ensure the box 'save a copy to the server' is ticked but they can not help me locate this and I have no idea what to do, can anyone talk me through this please?
Check your mail preferences. The example below is from the mail app that comes with mac. In my case I'm using yahoo mail which is a POP3 account. POP stands for post office protocol which is the set of rules used by a POP mail account to transfer mail. You can learn more about it here if interested. If the box below is checked, all the mail will be downloaded to your computer when you check your mail using the built in mail app and removed from the mail server. Here is another page to help you set up your hotmail account for use the the mac mail application. Hope this clears things up.
