I have enablI Firefox's pop-up blocker enabled but I keep getting a pop up ad coming up!

I have a MacBookPro and can't get this Advertisement pop-up to stop - it comes up intermittently on my screen while I'm on the Internet. I also have Mozilla's Web of Trust (WOT) and that also comes up with it prompting me this ad/site has a bad rep.
As a side note: I've since gotten an email recently from one of my email contacts. I thought it was a legit email from my cousin. But when I opened it was a link to another site, I immediately knew it couldn't have come from my cousin because she doesn't send me links of that nature. So I'm thinking my contact info/password had to have been hacked by someone. I've visited a few coffee shops with WiFi too- could have possibly been from that? I dunno but I've since changed all my passwords.
Could the above have anything to do with receiving that annoying pop-up ad that keeps popping up?
How do I get rid of it? and is it some kind of malware or virus?

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.2 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.2 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

I've just (finally) managed to fix this problem today. I checked the Apple Support forums, and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.
I rang the Apple Support line, and the very helpful man (thanks Alan!) talked me through it stage by stage. If you go to the following page on the internet: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376 it takes you through the process. WARNING - it takes a little time!
Basically, the first thing you have to do is go to your Program Files and double click on your iTunes folder. There'll be a number of files with the suffix .dll - you need to move all the .dll files from that folder to your desktop - you can simply click and drag them on the desktop..
Next, uninstall iTunes - go to Control Panel / Add/Rempve Programs and when the list comes up remove iTunes. This will take a few minutes... Then reboot your computer.
Next, go back to Control Panel / Add Remove and Remove - IN THIS ORDER -
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot again!
Next, check in your Program Files that the iTunes folder is completely gone - if it has, great: if it hasn't, right-click on the folder and press Shift and Delete - it will say "Are you sure you want to completely remove the folder "iTunes"? Click on "Yes".
Reboot!
Then go to the iTunes download page and voila! It should download iTunes without any problems... well it did for me.... Good luck!

When I go in the cookies ARE enabled. I have cleared out all the cookies and tried to open Gmail in new tabs. I keep getting the same result. I have restarted the computer and reopened Firefox.

I have JavaScript enabled, but I keep getting 'enable java script now'

I have only started using firefox. On other's computers it the best!
I changed from windowsXP 3 days ago. Now when I try to open 'Luminosity' for example, window says 'Install Adobe Flash' (which I have done) and enable JavaScript (which I have done).
Yet after 2 days of frustration, nothing has changed! I AM SCHOOLING ONLINE AND I NEED HELP!!

I couldn't find anything on the error text you posted but I did find lots of google hits on [http://www.google.com/search?q=%22The+application+failed+to+initialize+properly%22+0xc0150004 "The application failed to initialize properly" 0xc0150004]. Is that the error?
In any case, did you try a clean reinstall of Firefox? If not, open the C:\Program Files folder and delete the '''Mozilla Firefox''' folder, if it's there. Next, go to mozilla.org/firefox click the green download button and install a new copy.

If it was indeed purchased with a different apple ID then there is no work around for what you want! You can try signing in with your daughter's apple ID and password and update the app and purchase whatever you want then log back in with your apple ID. This may work!

Okay, you are correct the call is not supposed to ring in. Have you done any troubleshooting on the phone? First off, try power cycling the phone. Turn the phone off, then back on again. If that does not work, then try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. See if that changes things. Is the caller using the exact number that you blocked, or is it possible they are using another number, or have restricted the Caller ID?
