Do yo really have enough free storage?
To download/install an app directly to the iPod you need available storage equal to about three times the file download size. Syncing the app to the iPod requires a lot less. Thus you either have to free up more storage or sync the app from your computer.

Is this a slideshow created directly from an album?
There's a bug with iPhoto 9.5 and Mavericks in that slideshows from Albums do not play correctly if they are sorted manually. Only photos that have been sorted by date, keyword, rating or title will play from albums correctly.
To have a slideshow with photos sorted manually use the slideshow mode in iPhoto.

if your computer does not support the operating system you wish to install in bootcamp then you have to use a virtual machine like virtual box to install the operating system you wish to install

Connect your device to iTunes and in the the window were all the apps are greyed out make sure the 'Sync Apps' checkbox (top left corner) is selected.

Hi, I see I haven't had any responses but these problems haven't been fixed.
I still haven't been able to transfer purchases from my phone to my comp so consequently have stopped purchasing on my phone.
I bought a couple of albums recently via itunes on my comp, and tried to tranfer them to my phone via a playlist, but the sync often crashes. One album transferred except for one song, and the other hasn't at all. What happens is that when I autofill from a playlist it often hangs for ages on the first song and then I have to quit the application altogether as nothing happens for ages. Basically, the whole Itunes software freezes.
After this I find it hasn't transferred any songs, but they do appear greyed out on my phone, which means it has transferred some basic data such as the titles, but not the song itself. When I try to repeat the process to complete the transfer Itunes tells me that it can't transfer because the songs are already on the phone, but they are not!! I can't click or remove on the greyed out items, so now I have a couple of almost full albums on my computer that I can't tranfer or install on my phone, and a whole bunch of greyed out songs on my phone that I can't play or remove!
The rest of the problems as above still stand. I downloaded the latest itunes OS updates but nothing's changed. I haven't done the very latest iphone update yet though because it says you need to make sure your stuff is backed up, and I don't want to lose the purchases I made on the phone that I can't transfer to my comp. I'm planning on uninstalling itunes completely and reinstalling but I have little faith that this will fix the issue.

Following up: I went with Option 2 above, and it seems to have worked quite well. I didn't even need to quit iTunes. After the files were moved, the exclamation marks remained at first, until I played the file, or restarted iTunes - now all seems well, until the next crash anyway.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Contact Apple Support or an Apple Store if you have one near you. Your battery needs to run through the diagnostic test. You can also try to put the device into Recovery mode as well and rsetore the iOS software, and set up the device as new. Follow this article on Recovery Mode:

First and foremost, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. In any case, and since you seem to be in the process of updating (you should have done so a while ago, since Firefox 2.0 has been discontinued years ago, I believe), your problems may exist because you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. I'm trying to uninstall firefox and reinstall it as it keeps freezing, but it wont close and so I cant reinstall it. How can I fix this?

For the last fortnight or so, firefox kept freezing, but it would always fix itself within a minute or so. I did a computer scan and everything was clean and I reduced the number of tabs I had open to try and speed things up, but even when I had only one tab open, it would freeze. A message keeps popping up about 'a script has stopped working' and whatever I press makes no change (stop script, or continue). Im trying to uninstall and reinstall firefox, but I can't uninstall it until the programme is closed. But I cant close it as it is completely frozen. How can I fix this?

Usually uninstalling and reinstalling only helps if the program files are damaged. When the issue if an add-on or setting, then you wouldn't expect to see any change. (I am assuming that you do not remove all your personal data, as that would blow away your bookmarks.)

If the reset doesn't help, try to force quit the crashing apps. Sometimes making them reboot from scratch helps (and you wont' lose any data)
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode
