I have recently switched to icloud. Lately I have not been able to receive emails. A msg comes up asking me to reenter my password. Perhaps I am entering the wrong password and have forgotten what it is. How can I find my old password or change it and get my .mac account email working again?
If it was setup using your iPhone and your Apple ID then as far as the iCloud team will be able to find out, you set it up. Passwords cannot be retrieved.
Change all passwords on accounts associated with your iPhone. -
Having trouble important my Google contacts via Microsoft Exchange. An Exchange pop up says that I have entered the wrong password. Help?
I found a fix!! Refer to this article regarding using Microsoft Exchange for Google accounts: http://www.zdnet.com/with-new-gmail-and-google-maps-ios-apps-the-iphone-5-is-cle arly-the-best-smartphone-available-7000008756/
In a nutshell, the Google/Microsoft Exchange combo will no longer work on apple devices. You will need to delete your Exchange account altogether. I know, scary! After you delete it, add your Gmail account like you would add any other regular email account on your device [Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Gmail > add your info]. That takes care of your email and calendar.
Now to get your google contacts back! Refer to these instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4872?viewlocale=en_US
I promise, these steps worked for me (even though I was wincing while I deleted my Exchange account). Now I have my Gmail, Google contacts, and Google calendars (even the shared calendars!) on both my iPhone and iPad :D -
i have purchase iPHONE 4S. During learning the application i have put mant times wrong passcode and my phone was disable. Plese tell us how to unlock it?

I locked my iphone 4s, I forgot the passcode and it says disabled connect to itunes. I have some very important information on the phone I can't lose, How can I retrieve that information if the phone was not backed up to icloud of my mac?
You can't. If your phone is disabled, the data has already been erased...that's the whole point of the passcode. Your only option now is:
Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode & restore it:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. -

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

I accidentally entered the wrong password and disabled my phone how do i fix it
does anybody know how i can undisable my phone
You can restore the iPhone on a different computer using Recovery Mode (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808), but you will lose all content. If there were a way around a passcode lock there would be no point in having a passcode lock.

I'm trying to send a photo from iphoto - but apparently I entered the wrong password, and now it does not give me the opportunity to resubmit my correct password - it only tells me that mine was wrong and will allow me to cancel but not correct. I tried to cancel and start over but it still doe not let me re-enter my password. Is there some "command" that will help me?
iPhoto Menu -> Preferences -> Accounts ->
Delete and recreate your email settings. -
Dear Sir,
Yesterday i have purchase iPHONE 4S. During learning the application i have put mant times wrong passcode and my phone was disable. Plese tell us how to unlock it?Basic troubleshooting steps outline in the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Try each of these in order until the problem is resolved. If you've been through all these steps and the trouble persists, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation. Be sure to make an appointment first at the Genius Bar so you won't have a long wait.

My iPad says it's disabled. I have not entered a wrong password let alone many times. It turns on this way. I need my iPad ASAP I am a college student and this is how I take notes. I don't have iTunes to plug into right now, any suggestions?
If it's showing the disabled screen then it will need to be connected to a computer's iTunes in order to reset it back to factory defaults (you can then restore to your last backup) : iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled

I am trying to find a password that I changed yesteday. I forgot what it was, and today I entered the incorrect password, and now I can't get logged in. When I look at the password manager, it is showing what I believe is the incorrect password. Is there a way to get it to show what the password was? It is showing that I changed the password yesterday.
Hi, jydsker!
Let me see if I can help.
*Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], click "Preferences" (the gear icon).
* Select the "Security", and click the "Saved Passwords" box.
* If you select the "Show Passwords" box in the lower right corner, it will show you the saved password.
If it is the incorrect password, select the entry and select "Remove".
Let us know if that helps. -
I get the message listed above when I try to email pics. It asked me to set up an email account. I chose gmail. It asked for a password. I'm assuming it was asking for my email password. And yes I may have typed it in wrong, but how do I "please make sure you have entered the email account and password correctly" ??? I can't find out how to get back to that point?
Have you checked your Gmail in-box? See if this helps:

just got an iPad and set it up, synched with my computer. Then I turned on WiFi (to connect to my home FiOS router) and when it asked for password I entered the wrong one. So, I tried again and now, instead of prompting me for password, it's asking for DHCP and lots of other detailed info that I don't know.I tried turning wifi off and then back on ... same result when I tried to join (the DHCP et. al. prompts). I tried turning the iPad off and back on ... same result.
What to do??? I'm so anxious to try out my new iPad
(P.S. I have an iPhone and have no problem accessing WiFi. This issue with the iPad was obviously triggered by my entering the wrong password)Go to Settings>WiFi>Your Network Name - tap on the blue arrow to the right of the name and then tap - Forget this Network in the next window at the top.
Restart your iPad for good measure and then go back to Settings>WiFi>Your home network name and start over again.
