I have erased all settings and connections of my ipad 1 generation by mistake and I tried many times to restore all settings and connections by connecting to iTunes but Itunes did not show me a column to restore my ipad, can someone teach me the step by stepto restore settings after connecting to iTunes, thank you!

If you have a backup of the iPad on your computer then you should be able to right-click (command-click on a Mac) the iPad 'device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and select 'restore from backup' on the pop-up - you can't just restore settings though, you will need to restore the whole iPad.

You need to connect it to iTunes and reactivate it.

Force the phone into recovery mode & restore as new:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. Select "New".

When I bought my iphone 5. I was told by apple advisor that it is 4G ready but just last Friday I have told by Vodaphone that it is not compatible on their 4G network. I am confused, can anybody please tell if it is compatible on 4G network? Thank you

I have always been with Vodaphone and I tried to upgrade my sim only contract to 4G. I have been told last week by Vodaphone that original Iphone 5 is not 4G compatible. Why are you disappointed? Apple was 100% correct, the iPhone 5 is a "4G" LTE device. Whether it is compatibable with your carriers 4G/LTE network is something that you, as the user, must confirm prior to purchase. If EE is the only supported LTE carrier in the UK, that is unfortunate but something that could have easily been found out at/before purchase.
When asking about 4G compatibility, did you simply ask if it was a 4G/LTE device or did you specifically ask it if would work with your carrier on their 4G/LTE network?

Hmm thanks for doing those steps for us. When you stated that you have done the reset on the phone, did you do a full factory reset or Rest Network Settings:http://vz.to/1gB9rgc I would also suggest that we try to remove the sim card from the device. I have recently updated my Apple TV (gen 2) and now Airplay video won't work. I can hear the audio, but no video. I have unplugged, replugged, restarted. Help! This problem is all post-upgrade.

My apple tv which has always worked beautifully is not picking up airplay from my ipad. It is picking up the audio, and it will certainly do that "mirroring" thing where you watch a grainy computer screen on your tv, but it won't work the way it used to. Any help? I have plugged and unplugged, reset and restarted everthing to no avail. Icons are available, I see the apple tv option on all devices but it just won't do it's thing. Help!

Sometimes a simple power cycle of your your wireless network can resolve some AirPlay issues. I would also recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device. If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.

I dropped my iPad today and immediately the screen was completely distorted. Colors changed, images fuzzy, slow as can be, very hard to turn off or turn on. I googled my problem and came to the https://discussions.apple.com site to read what I should do. Not surprisingly, other people had this same problem. What is INCREDIBLE is the way they suggested to resolve it. I was hesitant at first but since SEVERAL people all said that it worked, I figured to give it a try. A few people suggested SLAPPING THE BACK OF THE IPAD, NOT GENTLY, BUT FIRMLY. A few good slaps and it looked a bit better. Then my husband decided to DROP THE IPAD FROM ABOUT 2 FEET IN THE AIR ONTO THE CARPET, in a totally horizontal position. THE SCREEN IS NOW PERFECT!!
For the last 2 or three weeks, the iPad has been very slow to load my apps, turning on and shutting down. AS SOON AS I DROPPED THE IPAD, as described above, THE IPAD IS FAST, FAST, FAST.
I know, it sounds ridiculous that this should work, but it did. I am certain that an Apple techie would never suggest this as a solution, but I swear to you, this has worked.

If you registered the software then your serial number should be recorded in your Adobe account online.

An iPhone 3GS is too old to update to the very latest iOS and you will never be able to use apps that are compatible. The phone is just too old now in technology terms and the app makers have all moved on, so it's time to get a new phone.
Ideally, perhaps get an iPhone 4s or if you can afford it, an iPhone 5s or 5c which are the newest models.

Did you already check your securit software settings? iTunes has to contact Apple during the update process.
